  I would firstly like to thank Paul for my new portrait and taking the time to visit my home to do so, he will tell you i don’t like having my photo taken. Thank you for your time, generosity and patience….and for popping into say Hi with the family while you were exhibiting at ART Melbourne 08. Jo what can I say….I will start with Thank you….for your support, advice, help and input on Thursday night – the opening night of Art Melb I am so glad you were there… / ...and PS we have a project planned! ;) Kaitlin So nice to meet after our many communications, thanks for all your advice given to my many questions over the last couple of weeks and for stopping in to chat at the show, it was great to meet you. Graham who was at the show with his family; joined the art workshop and I got to meet his three lovely children and catch up with Graham which was a treat. Naomi who i have collaborated with and again had much communication with but never met till the weekend. It was great to meet you and have a chat, although it was constantly interrupted. Peter who not only came into the show but photographed my Other profile a very generous and talented man. I am really looking forward to working on our many planned projects….! And thanks to my friends and family, to those who brought my work and books, to the people I get to spend four days with every so often during the year while we are at the show and thanks to the kids for coming to play with me. :))))

  Hey Guys, / Received my first batch of cards from RB today (2 of my own and 6 from you guys!!!) They are STUNNING quality-very happy with that. BUT…..... / On 3 of the cards (2 of mine, 1 of kookylane’s) whatever border we have used at the time has screwed up the measurements for printing, leaving either uneven borders or one border on one side and not another. HMMMMM. / My Mum and I were actually discussing this the other nite- how these sorts of pics looked in the preview section before buying. She said that some of her pics looked ok and some were right OFF. Had a look at some of my stuff and agreed with her, hence my last blog entry (getting rid of certain borders on prints for perfect look/printing outcome). No worries, you might say… / I think for anyone to just assume their work will fit perfectly and print perfectly once uploaded to RB should really FULLY CHECK how each piece looks in checkout before posting your pic/artwork/etc. I STUPIDLY assumed evrything would be aok….. / Here’s hoping you can learn from my mistake!!! :) (YOU MIGHT WANT TO GO CHECK SOME OF YOUR WORK GUYS….) Imagine if you’re a customer looking at it-even worse, buying 20 of your cards, wait weeks for postage, then receive them looking all BODGY. Bad for you, Bad for customer, Bad for RB!!! / Anyway, the cards are for Me so no huge drama. Just thought I’d drop you a line…..And again, gorgeous quality cards-Ta RB!!! / Bel :)

So why are we so [[afraid]] to speak up for ourselves? / ..CLIQUES.. / “Whores” / “Geeks” / “Goths” / “Emos” / And thats not even half of them.. [[Society in General]] We Live in a world where if you’re not [[SKINNY]], not [[BEAUTIFUL]], not [[SEXY]], or not [[STRAIGHT]].... you’re [[TORTURED]], [[ABUSED]], and [[HUMILIATED]]. We say that we are all [[EQUAL]] but there is still [[RACISM]], [[SEXISM]] and people judging others based on their religion, colour, size and heritage…. It’s scary… but it’s so very true….. / Dont be afraid to speak up when you want to, because if you don’t, you’ll miss out oh a hell of a lot in life..dont feel you need to be skinny, straight, or pretty.. to be beautiful. True beauty lies beneath the skin. All we see is what the we want to see.. not what we should.. Beth

  I’m chuffed to bits at making my first sale on here of a laminated print. The picture is question was taken on a gorgeous misty morning last October. It was as quiet and serine as it appears on the photo apart from the sound of geese every so often coming back from their travels overseas. You couldn’t see them because of the mist and is was a bit spooky! The mist just hung over the sea, and I’ve never seen the sea so still! I was very pleased when I checked out the pictures on the computer at home. Thanks to the buyer!
