Hello friends and artists, if anyone is interested, I am looking for a co-runner for a group dedicated to helping out those less famous artists become well know. Its a chance to spread your work through your own group and become more reconized yourself. I was thinking we’d call it “Unknown Artists” or something simple like that. Send me a message and we’ll see what happens. :)

I never really thought about how badly I wanted to live on my own until recently, and I’ve begun hardcore apartment hunting. My parents are young and they have a new baby girl, which is fine with me but I feel like I’m out of place. My two other sisters are 15 year old twins but they feel better there than I do. I’m almost 18, I can work and I am very independent. Why not go for it then? The problem is, my boyfriend and his friend Mat, are going to be my roommates. Great, except that they constantly change their minds and can’t seem to just pick a darn apartment. Mat is claiming that maybe his “home life will get better” and Kaleb agrees with me; we just want to get out of there. Too bad Kaleb can’t pick where to live and wants to wait until February 2009! And we have to keep Mat on board; our budget is limited. Kaleb and I are only paid minimum wage and it would be pretty hard to get by on $1,000.00 a month between the two of us. I mean, rent alone is $750.00, plus we would need food, clothing and other basic care neccesities. I’ve got my list down but they are so slow, and I don’t want to be a welfare bum or apply to geared-to-income housing because I know we can be self-sufficient. Is there any way I can make them choose faster? Or at least speed up the moving out process? P.S.; Any kind of “first apartment” tips would be excellent. ;)
