Ever felt an angel’s breath in the gentle breeze? / A teardrop in the falling rain? / Hear the whisper amongst the rustle of leaves? / Or been kissed by a lone snowflake? / Nature is an angel’s favorite hiding place.~Carrie Latet Dedicated to the young girl who drowned close to this spot , earlier in the afternoon. (I didn’t find out about it till the next morning, when I went back for sunrise)

My little girl and I enjoy sitting and watching the sun go to bed and say “Goodnight” to him. It is a tradition that we have on the last night whenever we are on Holiday and is a special time that we share and talk with each other. I took this shot on one of those evenings. The way the sun brings to life the clouds which mark the sun’s departure is beautiful. HP PhotoSmart C945 bridge camera / f/5 / 1/60 / ISO 100
Governments around the world, are setting targets to phase out the use of Incandescent light bulbs, in favour of more energy-efficient fluorescent sources of lighting, effectively “sunsetting” one of the most ubiquitous inventions of the 20th century. Thomas Edison created the first commercially viable incandescent light bulb in 1879. Little did he know how much his invention would contribute to the energy crisis that dominates the 21st century!... (This is my first attempt at Digital Art, so I’d love to hear your comments, criticisms, suggestions, etc. I’ve started with a picture of a red lightbulb and used PS CS2 and most of the techniques in this tutorial for the water reflections. Unfortunately, it looks like it has since been removed) Also available as a T-shirt:
