  • We all at some time in our lives dream of achieving a place or security for our family. In this chaotic world of economic uncertainty the dreams of economic security have become harder and harder to achieve. Where in the past a family could have one parent working and still purchase a home and live in relative comfort. Now we 98% of the population is lucky to be able to keep a roof over their heads and also be able to place food upon the table, with two members of the household providing income. What is the result of this absence of parental guidance from the homes, some say it is the total degradation of our societal structure. Children are being brought up without a foundation of integrity, honor, and respect for others. What can we as a society do to provide for children that will create a positive result a hundred years from now? Let us all consider what we can do to make their heartfelt dreams a reality. • Have you ever felt as if you are alone in a crowded room, or that the world is burning around you and no one notices the smoke? We as a people are in many ways treating the planet just like that, ignoring the pleas and screams for help, content in our tiny personal universes oblivious of the damage manifesting in front of our eyes. I wonder if it will take us being isolated into the final last mountain top remaining able to sustain life prior to our awakening to the critical nature of our precarious existence. We are on the crossroads able to choose two paths ahead, one leads humanity into darkness into which we may never recover and the alternative leads into a world of phenomenal wonders and breathtaking beauty which fills our spirit with joy. Which path do you choose? Artwork created with Vue Infinite

  • We are at a critical stage of our evolution, the choice of two paths is before us. I only hope that we as a people choose to the path of ascendancy in which we love each other along with nurturing the planet we live on. If work together as one people no child has to go hungry or live without a home. The choice is ours made with Sterling2

  • There is talk of within the decade we will have men walking the surface of Mars. I wonder on the prudence of the capital expenditures necessary to finance such an endeavor when as a world we are insufficiently addressing the basic needs of its people. Furthermore should we be focusing our attention on the stars when there is so much we do not understand about our own planet and the mysteries just beneath the surface of our oceans. Just a thought…. We are making some fantastic advances in wave pump generators producing electrical power from the simple action of the waves. That is the advancements that most excite me, the utilizing of the abundance available right here on our planet in green healthy technologies that will benefit mankind for generations to come! Then we can expand past the moons rings.

  • You hear many terms used by people describing the power of the essence of Earth. It encompasses the inner power pulsing in the very sub-atomic core of every cell on the planet. It is what separates the living materials from the inanimate. Each planet and animal has this energy coursing from it, pulsing with the life force of creation. Call it electro magnetics, chi, ki, primal energy, regardless, it is the essence of life. Throughout history many mystics, sages, and enlightened masters have tapped this flow and performed amazing feats which have astounded those who have witnessed it. Whether in healing of even manipulating the weather the result is the same, it is directing the earth essence with the power of our minds to effect a positive result which benefits the planet. What is not said is that everyone has the ability to tap and access this energy, what we do with it…that is the path of enlightenment! This was made with a combination of Apophysis, Bryce, and finished in Photoshop

  • Everything within our known universe is composed of energy and that energy manifests itself in a plethora of forms of outstanding beauty. Do we tend to speed through our existence missing the beauty that surrounds us. Many faiths describe the intense beauty found within deep meditation which is said to touch the essence of that universal power which surprisingly enough is found within. I believe they have glimpsed a view of the energy found upon the cosmic seat of consciousness at the inner core of creation. Who knows if we slow down for just a moment and stop and look, we might find a view which will take our breath away.

  • Not that long ago a stroll through old growth forests was a sight many could experience, but due many of the governmental policies world wide we have consumed many of these ancient depositories of medicinal potentials. In many countries there has been some improvements in a focus on reforestation, but it will still take thousands of years for these forests to obtain the incredible majesty of the many ancient forests that have been lost. We can only hope that each and every one of us decides to take a positive action, not just for us, but for our future generations of children. Have you planted a tree lately?

  • What do you see when you look within? I am not talking a distorted perception of what we try to project to others, instead, what is at the core of our being? It is said that before we can begin to move forward in our lives and achieve our true potentials, we need to face that what terrifies us the most…our true self. Once we can face that which is the worst in us, we can confront it and start making real changes in our lives. For the fastest way to make a positive change in our lives is to change the only thing we really have control of ourselves, then the world begins to change around us. For things to change in your life you have to be willing to change yourself first!

  • Have you ever sat on a beach just as the sun is setting and watched the play of golden light across the sparkling water? What a gift of profound peace to be able to behold a thing of such indescribable beauty and to think many get to do this on a daily basis. We do tend to see the beauty in others backyards and fail to see what is breathtaking within our own. Take a moment and look around at what is surrounding you and really try to see with an open mind, the wonderment around you! You may be surprised at what you see. :-)

  • At the turn of the last century life was a the same time harder and much simpler. The focus of people was more towards family and friends. We did not have the separation due to the electronic age, families sat down together and enjoyed meals together and discussed the days events. One of the main concerns each night was the thought of being able to see the rising sun. Lets try to bring that same closeness and love back into the families, and together we can greet the rising sun of a new world. This image title is from the Animals hit song “House of the Rising Sun” released in 1964. This song was done in one take and was a immediate hit!

  • This is a view of my wonderful hometown taken from Mt Keira lookout. Although it was a very overcast day, with the amazing ability of Photoshop I have been able to still get a reasonable shot. I live about the same distance from the ocean as the view you can see, it takes about seven minutes to get to our fabulous beaches and behind my home is the rainforest and escarpment which so far has escaped development. Wollongong is a vibrant community 0f 284000 people from approximately 82 different nationalities and is lovingly referred to by locals as “The Gong”. / This wonderful lookout is a place we used to enjoy at least twice a month on a regular basis with our very large family. There are beautiful walking tracks, lookouts and a picnic area as well as a coffee shop with views to die for. We used to laugh because we would drive for twenty minutes to reach the lookout, then pay to use the big telescope to see where we had just come from. / Looking for somewhere to holiday? Come to the Gong. / Thanks for visiting / Taken with my Canon 40DSLR this is a compilation of two photos which have joined and blended using Photoshop, / Thanks for visiting /
