I was able to get home for Christmas to spend a week at my parent’s cabin at Apollo Bay. If you squint hard enough you can see it at the base of the hills in the background. The afternoon of this photo I got on my bike and headed up the Barham River Tourist Drive to get some shots of the surrounding hills in the golden light. On the way out I got this shot and I think it lines up nicely. It’s very typical of the region and that’s why my parents love it so much here. It’s charming.
