Something completely different for me, this is a series of nearly five different images I took in a darken room over a year ago. Most where shot against a mirror and involved various lightup toys. From these I built up this image, as I said something completely different a total departure form my usual stuff. I’d really like your feedback on what you think, and when you look at it what you see back (if anything ?). Thanks, / Craig
The Champs de Ellesse leading up to the unmistakable Arc de Triomphe, I felt like doing something different with this someone unconventionally composed image. I really liked the way the empty street quickly turns into busy traffic especially the little car and then the bus with the gorgeous model on it. This was taken in June 07 on our Paris tour. I’ve tried a multi-layer processing technique on this image, blending a number of different techniques to make it the final look including selective blurring, high-pass filtering, but basically I kept trying things to see what worked well together.
Isn’t it funny how technology has invaded almost every aspect of our life. This shot was taken as I was watching one of the most magical sunsets I’ve seen. I turn around and saw a single figure on the top of the hill and first though he was enjoying the view as well, until I noticed the mobile to his ear. Was he oblivious to the sunset consumed by his conversation, or was he calling home to tell his mum what he was witnessing. Who can guess, as I don’t know. Taken in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Almost finished my second roll of film (the first didn’t advance so it was a right off) the second is definitely on, so I’m looking forward to the results. In the meantime, I’ve been enjoying taking photos of the camera its just so damn sexy! Thanks again Redbubble and stay tuned some Leica images will be coming soon.

Farewell but not for forever, just for three exciting weeks while I travel Egypt, see some amazing things and hopefully meet some great characters too. I’ll miss you all but I’m looking forward to a break and a de-stress, and I can’t think of much more relaxing then kicking back cruising down the Nile at sunset. Take care and behave yourselves while I’m gone :P (Yeah Right).
A collaboration using Craig Goldsmith photography and my stencil art skills. Playjerise is made up of Jake Nauta and Daniel Georgiou, both from the Blue Mountains. Their mission is to make acoustic music cool again, and are doing a great job at that!
