This is my favorite photo of all! There is a wild red rose by my kitchen door. Late one afternoon, I was clipping tired blooms from the clusters; some clusters were hanging down. As I reached for this one to turn it over, a glimpse of gold flashed in the low sun. I looked again and discovered this tiny little frog napping in the heart of the bloom. I had only the negative and a small digital file from a scan, and it has taken me a month to get it into the appropriate high-resolution format where I can finally offer it for sale! Last Sunday I wend down to Sculpture By The Sea at Bondi Beach. The sky was amazing. It rained all the way down in the car (at 5am) then stopped as I parked. The clouds threatened rain for the 90 min I was taking photos, but then just as I was getting ready to go, a window opened up in the clouds and beautiful golden light streamed over the sculptures. The dark threatening clouds made the perfect backdrop. This image is a 3 shot HDR image. I printed this image up and it looks great in my hall… It has become one of my favorites.

I am lucky enough to live right next to a forest so I took the kids bush walking and got this photo of the sunset through the long grass.. I just really liked the golden tones and I had a different grass image but have taken it down and replaced it with this one.

This my usual dog-walking park and more recently my coyote-photography park. it’s a pretty unassuming little place, but when the light is just right it can be spectacular.
