A long day out surfing, the sun is setting so it is time to come home.

Burleigh Heads HDR style.
Some of the wild surf at Bells Beach and Winki Pop, created as a result of the strong, gale force winds during the previous day.
A quiet balmy evening on the coast at 13th Beach near Barwon Heads, Victoria. If there was ever a spot to forget your troubles and lower your heart rate, this is it, one of my favorite places to just walk and do nothing in particular.
The constant parade of swells breaking at Bells Beach always thrills a surfer when they arrive and see this view from the carpark. Although on this day, it was only for the ‘brave and daring’ as the surf was the result of a very severe storm the previous day and was very heavy and a bit messy.

I had a feeling that these two had never surfed Burleigh before as most surfers paddle out from around the cove and use the sweep to help get out. Backwards and forwards they jumped across the rocks deciding on where to jump off and occasionally, stood still long enough so I could take my photo(had a ND filter on).
Coloured pencils, Art Pens, Acrylics on canson paper The sun and the surf are such a part of the Australian lifestyle… / time spent on the shore, / heat on my back, / warmth of the sand, / swell of the sea as she lifts you up and over the crest of the wave, / bubbles rising to the surface as you kick upwards, / salty crust on your skin as you dry off… ..... allowing the universe to unfold and play itself out through us …..Deepak Chopra NOTE: Copying and displaying or redistribution of this image in whole or in part, in any form or by any means, without permission from the artist, Danita Clark, is strictly prohibited.
