(I AM NOT AN ARTIST I AM JUST A MAN WHO PAINTS.L.S.LOWRY).... I have been painting as an amateur artist on and off for many years.I have over the years developed a very unusual use of colour and content, which I now know from experience appeal to many people, Including individual collectors and dealers. Newcastle upon Tyne England has been a hotbed of heavy Industry since the beginning of the industrial revolution, most of which has now gone forever. A lot of my paintings are recollections of youthful images of the period, late 1940s and 1950s. They are inspired by local naïve and primitive pitmen artists I am also an admirer of L.S.LOWRY, and the great American artist EDWARD HOPPER .AND GRANMA MOSES among others. Soon after his arrival as a convict on the First Fleet, James Squire was caught stealing supplies to brew Australia’s first beer. The result was so palatable, the colony’s ranking officers only gave him 150 lashes. After fathering eleven children and working his way up from convict to publican and landowner, Squire established his brewery and the Malting Shovel Tavern on the banks of the Parramatta River. In his name we brew on to this day We don’t brandy the term ‘original’ around lightly. James Squire Original Amber Ale is so named, because it’s much the same style of ale James Squire would have brewed here in 1794. So when we call it ‘a handcrafted English-style Brown Ale brewed of the finest ingredients’, know that it was the truth then as it is now – and it still goes well with Kangaroo. James Squire Original Amber Ale is a handcrafted blend of Pale and Crystal malts, three distinct hops and a 140-year-old top fermenting ale yeast. Deep copper in colour with a creamy head, this beer rewards the appreciative drinker with a long, slightly nutty finish Cheers James …. it’s a bloody beauty!!!

ORIGINAL AVAILABLE / view my current eBay listings currently listening to: Spandau Ballet – Gold This lovely but strange girl began life in 2008 as a painting on canvas, but I wasn’t happy with the composition and 9 months later I’ve cut her out and pasted her over the top of a drawing which hadn’t worked out either. I find it interesting that the only recognisable image from the drawing is the eye in the bottom left corner. I feel it asking me what the hell I think I’m doing…. and I want to say, I don’t know….I really don’t. medium: acrylic on canvas, cut out and pasted over the top of a charcoal drawing on 185gsm watercolour paper size: 42cm x 59.4cm (A2)

A series organic, earthy, original paintings meant to be displayed together, or hung in groups of 2 or 3 or alone. These paintings were created all together and represent a feeling of earthy elements, organic compositions and natural, earthy colors. The size of each painting is 12” X 12”. They have DEEP gallery wrapped sides measuring 1” thick. All sides are painted. Each painting is signed and dated on the back. As part of the series, each will be labeled with the number order of the series. Each painting is coated with a protecting sealant to guard against wear and tear. This particular painting “Organic Elements” Series XIV is an earthly representation with colors of gold, green and brown.
