by Alex HuggettSo I’m off to the dog beach for our March ‘09 competition ‘Beach Scene’. Presumably it’s a dog beach because it’s not much for swimming, but it’s not bad photogenically. After 30 minutes madly shooting, the judges decided this would do for print section winner. Another photo taken at the Spit yesterday. It wasn’t until I was processing it in Photoshop that I noticed an object in the sky. I’m not sure what it is, could possibly be a helicopter, or a small plane, but I’m not sure. One can only hope for UFO! You may have to zoom in to see the object. This photo was taken from the top of Q1, the world’s tallest (all) residential skyscraper. I’ve always had a thing for tall buildings and wonder why more of them aren’t built right by the sea. The Q1’s shadow against the beach is the central element to this photo.
