I am lucky enough to live right next to a forest so I took the kids bush walking and got this photo of the sunset through the long grass.. I just really liked the golden tones and I had a different grass image but have taken it down and replaced it with this one.

This one is some what experimental.. Wasn’t sure where I was heading with it but it does represent one of the simplest plants we know.. Wheat….It’s so simple and has been a staple food, well, forever! This image represents it’s timeless quality.

Closing line to a Robert Frost poem Nikon D80 / Lens 18-135 / format Raw / ISO 200, f/5.3 / I used a polarizer (filter) to cut some of the sun’s glare. Post Production: I adjusted the photograph very slightly using contrast in Lightroom, and adjusted for too white (Hot spots) also in Lightroom. There was no cropping.
