Haaa! The terrible turtle is back. This one isn’t that hard, and looks pretty cool. For those of you that don’t remember Gamera, he is this huge flying, fanged, fire breathing turtle that defends Tokyo from all the other Japanese monsters. God knows they have enough of those running about over there. He never did take on Godzilla though, the pansy. have fun!

You could read into this and interpret that Oprah, in all her unstoppable power, rules over the western world in peace or terror (depending which side of the fence you are on), but all I really want to do is have some fun with her name. I guess I’m simple like that :P

What to do, what to do, what to do? When the going gets tough, the tough do Japanese monster tees? I can’t think of anything for a tee design. Well, I can think of lots of things, but nothing that sounds like a winner. That’s worse than no ideas at all.Anyway, Gamera deserves his own shirt. It’s hard to find good photos to work with of these old monsters anymore. Everything now is HD, or some other impressive abbreviation. I have more fun working from these grainy old photos anyway. More of a challenge. I may have to create my own kaiju. I think mobii would be a great name for something that erupted from deep in the sea, and stomped on a city or two. I’d do it. Here’s to giant fire breathing flying turtles!
