  • The Godfather, Sopranos, Scarface and now our own tribute to the Gangster world. Antonio needn’t worry too much. Those Mafia guys look too fat to run very fast.

  • Scooter in Lecce, Italy STREET / THE SEA/WATER / BIRDS/ANIMALS / UK / ITALY / ARCHITECTURE / CARDS / OTHER BITS

  • This was a shot of the Groom and his men at a wedding I did. I set up the shot having brought my own hat(see clockwork orange) and asked the guys to bring their sunglasses. Then the heavens opened and with the angels singing (Or so it seemed in my head anyways…wink)a beam of light shot thru the window and landed right on the groom. This was the end result. Also see the Godfather Returns for a compilation between Charles Winslow and myself

  • A compilation with Charles Winslow / “http://www.redbubble.com/people/winslow357” / Please see the original Godfather to find out how this pic was shot!!

  • ! LOUIS ARMSTRONG: GODFATHER OF JAZZ [2008]. Satchmo to the Jazz phenomenon is like Mozart is to the Classical genre. To me Louis “Satchmo” Armstrong revolutionized Jazz as an Black American contribution not only to the psyche of an American consciousness, but also perhaps as a “Revolutionary Aesthetics Americana.” My most favorite tune from this Godfather of Jazz happens to be “What a Wonderful World.” It personifies the abstractive attribute, yet very much appreciable, that has been a landmark characteristic of what Jazz is: HAPPINESS. So, whenever I listen Jazz, particularly to Satchmo, this Happiness is instantaneous and subjective on an existential mental plane of the here-and-now. Yet, Freudian psychoanalysis is more susceptibly subjective, just so that the sweet music of Jazz sinks into one’s soul. But one has to subject oneself wholeheartedly. This is easily attainable via Louis “Satchmo” Armstrong. Rest in Peace Pop.

  • April 17, 2005, the Gotham Motorcycle Exhibit.

  • a line from one of my all-time favourite movies

  • I just became a godfather. / I wasn’t entirely sure what to do, so I watched the movie, looking for some helpful advice. / The kid only sleeps in a really small bed, so a full-size horse obviously wasn’t going to do the trick – and besides this one seemed much more appropriate and available.

  • “Leave the gun, take the cannoli.” Pete Clemenza said this after they whacked Paulie. Godfather is a term of endearment. Leave the gun take the cannolis.

  • Did this a few years back; found it recently, did it up and here we are! The pink, while some might not like it… I find it useful. Adds a nice touch. Faerieness and all. Buy it. Be evil; nicely evil. Contribute to the battle against the poverty of Leaping Pig. After all, with the Godmother on your side, you can tell who will win.

  • Ink on 260gsm Bristol paper.Original mounted and framed $500.

  • This is Arm, he’s a bit of an icon around this town, covered from head to toe in tattoos and piercings (even where it really must hurt….which I’m going to discover in a future shoot). My vision was to create an image that shows that we’re all human, regardless of the facade. To do this I thought the best way was to show a stark contrast between Arm and a perfect, untainted baby. Finding the baby seemed to be the biggest challenge in my thoughts, but luckily, whilst shooting a house for a real estate company, I chanced upon this little 3 week old girl – and surprisingly, her parents were delighted to bring her along. I had about 30 seconds to get it right before the baby started crying – the weather was cold and uninviting for a scantily clothed newborn. / Shot in natural light, Nikon D700 with 24-70 lens / Thank you for all your wonderful comments and features, I’m so glad to have found a place where my work is so appreciated!

  • The very first large-scale inkrub I ever pulled, and the first of the “Icons” Series…captures part of the opening sequence in the original “Godfather”...created using inkub, graphite, and white conte on collaged newspaper. Featured in “Get Art Promoted”.

  • Natalino’s Barber Shop Series. Natalino is an Italian Barber who has owned this business for 15 years. His shop is in Victoria Street Brunswick. This series of shots reminds me of the Godfather. This is Natalino’s very close friend and paesani recieving a treatment. Taken as part of the Brunswick Photo Walk on Saturday 18th July.
