the growling goddess of chinatown
by bellmuskerFor one red moment she thinks she might kick the door in.
Brigit (breo-aigit / breo-shaigit ) – “fiery arrow” Many myths revolve around the goddess Brigit. Some say there are three incarnations; one in charge of writing and inspiration, who invented the Ogham alphabet; one in charge of healing; and the third in charge of fiery transformation. Only call on the third when you truly need her. She’s a doozy. The further adventures of Brigit with the peppermint hands

Plaster Goodbye the Bitch Goddess
by mstracefor him I would silence my brutal bitch that speaks in tongue
I take this class every Wednesday night and a classmate of mine is this cute, smart, sorta quiet guy. He is always staring at me in class and smiling at me in the parking lot. There is something about him… Yeah, yeah I know what you’re all thinking…just ask him yourself. Well, here’s a shocker – I’m very reserved when it comes to this kinda thing and have NEVER asked a guy out in the entirety of my life. This is not likely going to change any time in the future. So this piece is me venting some frustration at his lack of initiative.

A Machiavellian view on current reality or is there an alternative way ? Its up to us. We have that power. It is rarely used but so hard to do. / Putting the brakes on excessive consumption is possibly the most effective tool to act for most of us. If you dont buy something in the first place, less will be produced, less will be taken from Gaia and less will need to be disposed of.

Unearthing the Human
by MetalDragonessAs volcanoes erupt and spew ash / and the glaciers melt into the sea / As the winds churn / and the cities burn
Centuries have passed and still we extract all she has to give. The land in which we live on we take more than we need and bleed her dry. It is painful to see the pollution, and the depths to which people will go to have what they need. Here we kill now for oil to provide energy when there are other methods. But too costly they are to research. Lining the pockets of the government while blood is spilled tainting the land from which we came.

Gaia The Living Planet In The Moment Of Creation
by kathleenI have no statistics but an overwhelming number of artists find creativity in the earth, nature and the Great Mother herself.
In celebration of the choice of theme that RedBubble have chosen for their current competition (which secretly I believe was my overwhelming obsession for myth subliminally working the pipes of thought), it is right and proper for us all to bow down and worship that who we as a creative force are most inspired by. I have no statistics but an overwhelming number of artists find creativity in the earth, nature and the Great Mother herself.
