A mural found on a school wall. The mural no longer exists for the old school has been demolished. / The message still remains for us today…
Colorful digital painting by Alejandro Silveira.
A high quality print of an original painting by Tasmanian artist Deborah Conroy.
4.5×7 inches, watercolour and gouache, 2008. Poseidon was the God of the sea, earthquakes and horses. He was a virile God, fathering many children. He was also moody and could be difficult, causing storms and earthquakes, wrecking ships and drowning men.

In many villages throughout Africa Young children struggle against loneliness, Hunger, Lack of human skills, sickness and disease. On top of all this, we see many children trying their best to care for their younger brothers and sisters. Here you see a young girl fighting the odds to provide for her younger brother. / What makes this situation for this child even worse is that She has villagers in TungaZuga who really care for her and her younger brother, but food is scarce and the villagers often struggle to feed their won children. They share what they can, but it is often not enough. Some children die so young. This is why I do what I do without any salary. God loves these Children. I believe all children are our children, and we can make a real difference in their lives. Friends, this is our opportunity to reach many like her. Grace, the twins and others are alive today because some on redbubble cared enough to donate money, skills art and time to helping us help these children. We need more of you precious people to do the same. become part of this mission and help in whatever way you can. Allah (Arabic: الله, Allāh) is the standard Arabic word for God. While the term is best known in the West for its use by Muslims as a reference to God, it is used by Arabic-speakers of all Abrahamic faiths, including Christians and Jews, in reference to “God”. The concepts associated with the term Allah (as a deity) differ among the traditions. In pre-Islamic Arabia amongst pagan Arabs, Allah was not the sole divinity, having associates and companions, sons and daughters, a concept strongly opposed by Islam. In Islam, the name Allah is the supreme and all-comprehensive divine name. All other divine names are believed to refer back to Allah. Allah is unique, the only Deity, creator of the universe and omnipotent. Arab Christians today use terms such as Allāh al-ʼAb ( الله الأب, “God the Father”) to distinguish their usage from Muslim usage. There are both similarities and differences between the concept of God as portrayed in the Qur’an and the Hebrew Bible. Unicode has a codepoint reserved for Allāh, ﷲ = U+FDF2.
This reminds us that God sees us and is with us through all of life’s difficulties.
Early morning as I was walking around Kaban Village in remote Nigeria, I noticed children drawing water from a well. This was a long way off,so I used my Sigma 50-500 HSM lens, with a 2x Converter. I was amazing it came out so good, as I did not have my tripod. Normally any shake would blur the shot. After I took several shots, I stood and listened to them laughing and pretending not to notice me. Then the Holy Spirit brought a verse of Scripture to my thoughts. / “Therefore with Joy shall we draw water from the wells of salvation”. Gods well of salvation is so deep and never runs dry. You will find everything you need or ever shall need in Gods well of salvation. Quote: Job 29:15-16 + I was eyes for the blind, and feet for the lame. (16) I was like a father to the poor and took the side of strangers in trouble+. This is one of those moments in time which i will never forget. A very special boy and a heart of kindness. My Inpsiration and motivation to help these children is children like David. David used to live in Tunga/Zuga village about 300 miles from our mission center in remote Nigeria. This was taken in 2006 while on Mission to the area. David cannot walk at all, and crawls on his hands and knees. he was very ill when we discovered him sitting against his mothers house. David has polio, and this has paralysed him from the waist down. He was covered in his excrement and urine. There was only his mother to care for him, and she was also sick and lost the power of her left side due to a stroke. Last week we arranged to David and his mother to travel along with the twins to our Mission Center. There we will do what we can to care for them. We hope to raise money to buy him a special trike, which he can power with his hands. it costs £280-about $590. This will mean that Little David will be mobile. We have provided two to one girl called divine and a boy called Robert, through two kind supporters of our mission. ALL MONEY RAISED FROM SALE OF MY ART, AND DONATIONS MADE VIA OUR CHARITY WEBSITE, GOES TO HELP THESE PRECIOUS CHILDREN. WE TAKE NOTHING OUT OF WHAT YOU GIVE TOWARDS CHARITY OVERHEADS. This is the fourth version of the same picture, but this time done in oils. It’s amazing how you can see the picture is the same in each case, but they each have an individual character. / This reassures us that God sees us and is protecting us even in the fiercest storms of life. / The original painting is for sale on the Veritasse website, www.veritasse.co.uk , which features the work of over 70 Christian artists.
Taken while on Mission in Ungwa/fada Village Nigeria. This was such a funny thing to see. the Rider is the Chiefs son, and when We first say him in the distance, we could only see the foliage moving. Then as he got closer to me, I heard the motorbike as it spluttered and backfired. + ALL PROCEEDS FROM SALE OF MY ART, DONATED ART AND DONATIONS MADE VIA OUR CHARITY MISSION WEBSITE GOES TO HELP EXTREME POOR, SICK AND DISABLED IN RURAL AND REMOTE VILLAGES IN AFRICA.+. this was taken while standing on the banks of the river Nile in Nigeria. late evening and we were waiting for the small ferry to transport our Vehicles and us to the other side. Its a two day journey by road and dirt track from our mission center in Kujama in kaduna State to Tunga/Zuga Village in Kebbe state. I have made this journey several times and Live with the villagers in the remote village. Nothing can ever prepare me to deal with the extreme poverty, Sickness and Disease that is so extreme here. Dying Children, that could be saved with just a few drugs and a little money. My Passion and Inspiration comes from my Lord and his great love for the poor. In 1994, I dedicated the remainder of my life to reach the poor, not only with the Gospel of Salvation, but to rasie awareness throughout the word of their plight, adn to raise an army of Prayer warriors, and those who would sow a financial seed into their lives. A very unusual neal rly mono chriomatic picture of the cri ucifixtion. Note the suffering of people behind the v cross. Are they forgotten by us? / I used acrylics and some watercolour paint for this art work. / Note text in border. The greeting card will have white border top/foot.
Okay, this is my first real lightening capture…I am sure now this is even more difficult than capturing hummingbirds, especially when it only streaks once in a while and of course when it does, I’m looking the other way with my camera…Not exciting I know, but it is my first lightening image….LOL Changed the lighting to Tungsten for White Balance and I seem to like it better…leaving both images.
