The early morning sun streaming through the East window of our bedroom enhanced the warmth of this tender moment between my daughter and her father. She loved Saturday mornings because of the opportunity to snuggle up closer to her father when he didn’t have to leave for work. I relinquished my place in our bed to grab my camera and capture this special time. This picture was taken 10 years ago, and my little girl is now a teenager who still loves to crawl up into her daddy’s lap. On a spiritual note, I have spent many years trying to sort out the “character” of God… His presence in our lives, if He is demanding or compassionate? When I see this picture I understand the heart of a father towards his child and I can believe that I am cherished by our Father in Heaven. Some people believe there is no God. I can understand that too. But to borrow a quote from a favorite movie of mine, (Second Hand Lions) “Sometimes the thing we need most to believe in may or may not be true.” Whatever you choose to believe in, if it is good for your heart, then cling to it with all your might. Surely you are still our Father! Even if Abraham and Jacob would disown us, LORD, you would still be our Father. Been working on this off and on, it was a shoot I did some months back for some clients…. and well, I keep thinking of my own boyo whom I lost last year in August of 08. He was my pal forever and I had him for 14 years. He was Malamute/Collie Mix.. a collimute. tee hee I just saw a puppy yesterday, my heart sang so loud I almost thought.. / Naww.. none can replace my boyo. But this job gives me alot of time to be able to care for a pup. Well this was a first for me to think about it at all! So then I had to add this to the mix. There is indeed a vibration unique to the Dog world. I nearly went ga ga yesterday with this little furry pup. I have not thought of a dog at all since he left and said surely I would not have one till the next life. But damn.. that puppy made me all warm and fuzzy inside!!

I just did this drawing ,,,,,,,,,,then i painted it and use some indian ink, and red watercolor and some pencil and some pen and very expensive water color paper…....and i touched it up with some light and added the name across the top, this is what all Christians are if they have repented and excepted Jesus Christ as LORD and are obeying God the Word His Son Jesus Christ, we are washed and we are cleansed and made whole, and walk in newness of life and are saved and being saved if we continue in the Word of God, if we continue in JESUS Christ, if we continue to obey God and do what the Word of God tells us to do…...Do do do do, we are washed and cleansed from all sin all unrighteousness by the blood of the LAMB JESUS CHRIST and i am not ashamed …........hope you understand the artwork….He is my reason for living and going on and doing anything…....without HIM i can do nothing…....this i know.

My five year old grandson watched me work with Photoshop and asked if I could help him walk on water like Jesus did. This is the best I could do to meet his request. I added a verse from the Psalms to top it all off.
