Smiling and laughing, reach for the sky,
I have been writing bits and pieces most of my life, mainly stories and dabbling in a bit of poetry.This is the first for a while, not very good but think it shows how amazingly happy and content my family are since purchasing our 40 acre block in central Victoria. We have a home in Melbourne as well but as a dream of my partner of 18 years and I to own some rural property and start a life together with our two smallish children, things couldnt be better! Plenty of hard work ahead but life sure is good and shows if you put your mind to it goals can be reached and dreams do come true.

We all have dreams that drive us and that we hope one day we will make our reality. Unfortunately sometimes in life we don’t always get the chance or have the oppurtunity to reach our dreams no matter how much we work and search for it. Sometimes there are circumstances out of our hands that prevent us from getting there and sometimes it is just ourselves that stop us from taking that step of faith because we are scared of failing or being rejected. Not everyone will see their dreams become reality, it doesn’t always come easily to everyone, and then there are those who have the perfect chances and oppurtunities… But I guess no matter who you are it is better to try than to give up… we only have one life to live and every second counts.
