This was taken one evening in Carrum, Victoria… and the cloud formation just seemed perfect for a dramatic Black & White

Another sunrise, this one taken on 09/18/07 at 5:44 AM; we have certainly had our share of brilliant ones this year. More so than normal I think…....I’m not complaining, no not me; I hope they never stop.
Actually just idling the time away with this one. Trying some new techniques (failing and succeding, failing and succeding). Before you know it, you’ve lost 2 hours! :)
And another Sunset. Outback Australia, South West Queensland.

When rocks turn to monsters! I thought I would submit this for the Video Montage Group in the category MONSTERS, FANTASY, FOLKLORE. The scene was taken at Wilsons Promontory National Park and saturated in Photoshop.

An early morning view across the village of Nimborio on the Greek Island of Halki. The sun had just risen behind me and the mountain was glowing in the early morning light. Halki is a small yet very charming island in the Dodecanese that is situated opposite the west coast of Rhodes. Three bracketed JPGs converted to HDR in Dynamic-Photo HDR. In the centre of the shot is the broken clock tower. The residents of Tarpon Springs, Florida, USA (descendants of Halki sponge divers who were forced to relocate when the sponge diving around Halki became unprofitable) endowed Halki with money for the stone clock tower. Continued story from Evening Rainbow. After shooting the rainbow from my yard I turn to go back in the house when I saw this wonderful sunset. but it was blocked by trees, houses and ugly power lines. So even though I was bare footed I rushed down the street for a clearer view. This is what I captured. Shot taken with a Canon Power Shot A570 IS. / Taken August 12th 2009 at 8:34pm in Winnipeg MB Canada.
This shot was taking over year ago in Boston, MA ( same place where I took Burning sky , when I just got my Nikon D60, I was testing 55-200 mm non VR lenses, which I do not have any more. Do not know anymore if any filters was used.
