This is the first of a series from a couple of years ago called The Golden Age. It was published by a major publisher (so no prints off here!). The biggest difficulty for me was getting people to realise it is not a collage, but that the subject is painted in acrylic. Another painting using the ever-changing Zoe as my model.

This Sundew is so TINY !! About 1cm (3/8th inch) across. But so beautiful !! / I’m not sure if it’s technically a flower as it’s a carnivorous plant, but it looks like a flower to me :) Taken in Perth Western Australia Canon 400D : Sigma macro 50mm lens : f2.8 : 1/200 : ISO 800 / No flash.
