(if they find anything it’ll cost him 5,000 U.S. minimum for a gram of something naughty in his pocket. drink driving now costs a grand, even to people in shit cars. a year ago it was a couple of hundred. the price of freedom is rising.) the glove of fear.

Ok so lately I’ve been really into crafts and things. I started knitting when I was 3 years old and my grandma’s maid sat me down on her lap and handed me her tangle of wool and needles. Her name was Mrs. Tea. how awesome is that? So to fill my time (as if I need more work haha) I’ve been knitting and recently I learned to crochet. This weekend I finished off some fingerless gloves for James which was a lot of fun if not slightly stressful. I’m planning on embroidering skulls on the backs of them but he wanted to wear them to work so badly tonight that I let him take them. So I guess the point of this rambling is really to ask how many of you guys are creative in other areas of your lives? I couldn’t afford a jewelry box this week so I made one! I can’t wait to hear your answers!

Well yes, but you know … shit happens. But my girlfriend wouldn’t think at this one morning, that it can come really so impetuous… Up to this moment as she stood on the stairs and suddenly the forlornness of her situation crossed her mind … And this is how it all started… She met a really nice guy in the disco. A reeeeeally, really nice guy, I mean! And as it is, they went after this to him. They really had a great connection. From the beginning everything was just right! And she stayed there, at his place. Preferably she would remain forever. After that night, she had the feeling as she had known him always. That does not happen often, but finally it happened to her. Finally! That was Mr. Right! And after he had brought her the morning coffee to bed, he said that she simply could remain if she wanted. Preferably forever! And he said it really! But he must now go to work to the hospital, and would be coming back late. And he would be veeeeery happy, if she were still there then. And he kissed her so passionately saying that, that he would sweep her off her feet, when she would not lie already… And not even the matutinal bad breath had disturbed him. It surely was her fairy tale prince, for him she had waited so long, and a doctor even! Because he now was really in a hurry, he scribbled her his phone number on an old bill of sale, which he quickly found in the kitchen. From the kitchen, he still communicated, that when she would go today to the university, he could understand that she wouldn’t like to sit here until the evening alone, although the fridge would be filled adequately, she could operate freely by the way, because he couldn’t make a real breakfast anymore. Yes… exactly when she would go, then she should just shut the door. Something after eight he would be back, and he would prepare a wonderful candle light dinner… Anyway, he would be veeeeery happy to see her here again then. And still something… She should not use the toilet, because the drain would be blocked since yesterday. He would call at work for plumber to come in the evening. And she heard: “See you later my dream woman” as he closed the door. She stayed alone in his apartment. She was in heaven! He had totally trusted her and left her all alone here! She found a full refrigerator and the phone number on the kitchen table. After breakfast, she found the doctor coat and latex gloves in the cabinet, but no wedding pictures in photo albums. Obviously, she had to browse through everything, when he has left her here alone. Of course, very subtle, but very thoroughly. And she found her future husband here! Yes, he was it – her future husband!!! She would go now to the university and would be back for the dinner. Perhaps really forever then… She’s got ready, and going on dreaming, she went to the bathroom and sat down as self-evident to the toilet. When she was ready, it felt suddenly like a cold-hot shower! Didn’t he said something about blocked toilet? She tried to press the flush very light and as the water began to pile up and didn’t drain off, she knew that shit really happens! Well, what to do? She thought quickly about the latex gloves in the cabinet. She brought one and putted it one. Then she started to fish in the swamp… and when she was finished with the worst, she took off the glove carefully turning it inside out. After this she tied the glove with caution, although it was by no means easy, and she wanted to decontaminate it as inconspicuous as possible in the kitchen trash disposal. So she ran to the kitchen and looked in panic after the rubbish bin. She could not find it, so she let the glove quickly on the table and wanted first to tidy up the mess in the toilet. The water flew off a little, but it was costing her a lot of effort and time to clean up the toilet. When she was finished, she was so embarrassed that she just grabbed her bag and ran out as quickly as possible. Until the evening there would be surely nothing more left from this embarrassing incident! Exactly in the second as she had slam the door, she remembered the glove on the kitchen table… It was just horrifying, what the symbolism of a faecal glove over his not taken along phone number (which she also had forgotten of course on the kitchen table, in all this stress) would suggest to him. He had trusted her so much…. had left her alone in his flat after they have known each other just some hours… And she had deposited him something like this on his kitchen table? Was she a fetishist? A freak? In any case, not a future wife! It would be quite funny in their Finding-each-other-story, if he would mention what he found after his Cinderella was gone… No, not a glass slipper, but rather a rubber glove… And if the fairytale prince was looking after that for her?
