I was extremely bored today and I wanted to do something creative so I found the bubbles and started blowing out in the backyard. It was a little windy today so it was a stupid idea but I couldn’t stop trying, I just wanted ONE ! bubble with some sort of reflection before it popped. It was a mess, dripping bubbles everywhere and dropping my camera around my wrist a hundred times and then POP…..too late ! but finally I got one I really liked ….it reminds me of a garden globe.

A different perspective on the world. Also a nice seasonal picture. It’s a picture of glass globes that have been hanging in the front window at home and I took the picture through them into the winter wonderland outside. It’s not a recent picture, it was taken two, maybe three winters ago. Thought I’d put it up and let it get some exposure! I’m really happy with how it turned out! I hope you enjoy this piece. Which is about the communal abstract chatter that one encounters when in amongst a crowd of like-minded personalities. / I have chosen not to emphasize the precise detail of each bird but rather their general shape as they caper around, to give the impression of constant movement. The Birds Aren’t Singing / Miners once took canaries down the mines to detect dangerous gases, if the birds stopped singing or even died it was a sure sign that there was a critical level of gas and they would make their way to the surface. Globally we are producing excessive amounts of CO2 which is choking the planet contributing to global warming, are the birds going to warn us of our impending fate? Sea urchins are small, spiny sea creatures of the class Echinoidea found in oceans all over the world. The name urchin is an Old English name for the round spiny hedgehogs sea urchins resemble. Their shell, which is also called the “test”, is globular in shape and covered with spines. The size of an adult test is typically from 3 to 10 cm. These urchin ‘tests’ were being sold alongside some large clam shells.

Desiderata (Latin for “desired things”) You are a child of the universe, / no less than the trees and the stars; / you have a right to be here. / And whether or not it is clear to you, / no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, / whatever you conceive Him to be, / and whatever your labors and aspirations, / in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, / it is still a beautiful world. CREDITS: / Thank you very much to these wonderful stock artists. One of the odder moments I can recall of childhood was one halloween when it snowed while we were trying to trick-or-treat. And now for some reason, I always expect it to snow. And if it doesn’t, the holiday spirit will find another way…
