  • Morning rainbow, Jokulsarlon, Iceland Iceland / Belgium / Italy / France / Hungary / Spain / Sri Lanka / USA / London / Portraits / Other Jokulsarlon is a glacial lake that meets the sea in Iceland. One of the most beautiful places i have been on our little planet Earth. The tragedy is that this beautiful photo would not be possible without global warming. When in a cafe at a petrol station i saw a postcard of Jokulsarlon. One single large iceberg floating in the centre. As you can see now the lake is full. Note: The size if this work was increased using Photoshop CS2. / Best size being around the 50cm wide.

  • Council estate in Islington, London, UK. Iceland / Belgium / Italy / France / Hungary / Spain / Sri Lanka / USA / London / Portraits / Other Mums not feeling terribly well. The bacteria have not caused her any problems for thousands of years but they seem to be a little overpowering at the moment. They are attacking all parts of the sky and ground. The bacteria are spreading faster than ever before and are out of control. But mums cool, she’s tough. Only been around 4.5 billion years. She’s has been sick plenty of times. Nothing a good wash will not fix.

  • January 2006, with bushfires burning in the states east for weeks on end, depending on the prevailing wind, the smoke often reached well to the west of Melbourne. Here Ballarat is slowly being enveloped by the smoke advancing from the south/east even against the prevailing northerly breeze of about 5 knots, hence the cleanly formed smoke front.

  • I would like to describe this work as perhaps a true artist could, but I cannot. It is just my true feelings taken to pen and paper.

  • This photo was taken a few years back at the San Diego Zoo, in California – he was not really a happy camper in 80 degree temps. / In 2007, the US Fish and Wildlife Service proposed to list the polar bear as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act (enacted in 1973 as our nation’s primary tool for conserving imperiled plants and animals). / Personally, this is not enough ‘lip service’ for my taste, as a wildlife rehabilitator for the past 20 years, these laws are “thin” and not enforced as they should be. I have personally provided photographic eveidence of crimes against “Endangered Species” like the Perigrine Falcon and ABSOLUTELY nothing was done to the perpetrator(s). / The chief threat to the polar bear is the loss of its sea ice habitat due to global warming. However, the polar bear is also stressed by other human activity, particularly oil and gas development activities in its habitat. In light of Alaska’s governor being chosen for Republican Presidential candidate – it makes me cringe at the real agenda. / According to scientists, saving wildlife from the threat of Global Warming requires more than reducing pollution… / NWF / This video by the National Wildlife Federation will help you SEE that “The plight of the polar bear is unfortunately the tip of the iceberg, an early sign of the dangers facing America’s wildlife in a warming world. Polar Bears, Moose, Salmon and Trout, many of America’s most popular birds, and more – the list of species impacted by global warming is only growing longer. Global Warming is already causing problems – stronger hurricanes, rising sea level, more Western wild fires. The time to take action is long overdue.” (WA DC report 5/14/08) / But hey, maybe Brittany Spear’s custody battle should be what we focus on… then her kids can maybe see a polar bear in the ZOO only! All proceeds to sales of this print will be donated to the NWF’s efforts to saving the Polar Bear – thanks ;)
