My two favourite elements, sun and water..Combined with the daydreaming of a 3yr old. Taken on Miami Beach, QLD
On a recent trip to the Sunshine Coast… Elandra Point, Noosa, QLD 5:10am ;-)
I was heading out to a meeting and the sun just happened to be shining on a series of webs covered in dew… needless to say I was late for the meeting!!
God’s display of HIS creation in all its splendor. I was fascinated by the effect that the direct sunlight had on the flower, bringing out the brilliance, texture, tones and the translucent nature of the petals! If you look closely, the yellow stalks of the stamens seem to be actually glowing in the sunlight!
This was a great sunrise, which I stumbled on by accident. I was shooting accross the street when I noticed a glare…walked around some bushes and this was what I saw. Near East Booth Bay Maine on the Damariscotta River …a fantastic autumn morning! Nikon D50/18-70mm Nikon Lens /

This White Pine Tree was beautiful as the sun cast through its branches creating beautiful colors! I added an accented edge to give the needles more of a glow. This photograph was taken in West Chester, Pennsylvania, right behind my parent’s house, with a Canon 40D. /
I just love the color of these Gerbera Daisies. So I wanted to share them with all of my RedBubble friends. I bought these at the flower shop yesterday. I got to look through hundreds of flowers and pick these ones based on their beauty. Thank you very much for checking out my new work.
I took this last winter, after watching the spider weave the web in the rain! I thought that the web wont last long, and it was so pretty, so here is to the spiders hard work! shiny :-)
After lots of lovely fog this morning …all the spiders webs were glistening with fresh morning dew!!!!
A most incredible church at Sternberg (near Velden in Austria). Perched precariously on top of the mountain, this church enjoys incredible views over the valley and lakes below. Also from the same beautiful church: Mozart and the euphoria of singing, singing, singing… When I embarked upon my journey at the beginning of this year, I made a list of things that I wished to explore or enjoy… in my quest to overcome my terrible afflictions with depression, anxiety, insecurity, guilt and anger. It was an ambitious list, for a man in my state of mind at the time: In my first few weeks, I managed to successfully tick off just about everything on my list… except for the ‘choir bit’. So, this week… I finally joined a choir. And not just your average backyard choir… but an incredibly talented bunch of people who call themselves the Gold Coast City Choir. I have thrown myself in at the deep end and committed to joining the group, as they prepare for their busy Easter performance schedule. Amongst the song list for their Easter recital is the hauntingly rich and intoxicatingly powerful “Requiem Mass” by Mozart (one of my newly discovered favourites is Lacrymosa). Over the past few days, I have completely immersed myself in the world of Mozart. It has been twenty years since I read sheet music, I have never before sang in a choir and had never listened to ‘Requiem Mass’ until this week. But goodness, it just feels so very right. Mozart is now playing in my world… every waking hour (I even wrap my MP3 Player in plastic bags to listen to Requiem Mass whilst kayaking…. oh bliss….). It is such a dream to be singing this beautiful music. / All spruced up and heading off to my very first choir session… Some photos from the Choir’s website ... So. With my mind filled with all things Mozart and Requiem Mass, this image just seemed to flow out of my mind… a church in Austria (the birthplace of Mozart) under full moon on a rather haunting night: [Creative Effects: Contrast/brightness/shadow adjustments, Colour Removal, Blue Photo Filter, Three Omni Spotlights with Photoshop]
