A cool but glorious December night on Choctawhatchee Bay (Gulf Coast of Florida). Here is the golden minute of sunset just before it lays to rest. The scattering cloud coverage created a nice dynamic sky.

last of these glowing little IR shots of my local lighthouse. shot early in the morning with highspeed infrared film then scanned into photoshop for a bit of tidying up and then here. it is another tower of light in communion with the skys above it…..

I spent about an hour at the water and had the privilege to watch the fog come in from across the water. It was an incredible site to see.

The gleam This capture depicts Eagan Range in one August day. I left to Grafton peak early in the morning. I mean still at night. The forecast promised showers. Well, it’s not the first time, I thought. It started to rain at dawn. Initially, it was a light, but intensive shower. When I got to the point I pulled off, but didn’t leave the paved road. I was waiting for looooong hours. The weather turned for the worse. It was noon and still no hope. The weather was something awful! It was a day when all dogs stay at home. But I had to return back. It was raining like billy-o. Windshield wipers didn’t help at times. Sometimes I had to pull off and do nothing, but wait. I drove very carefully. Heavy dark clouds were all around: in the sky, below the ridge, and even just above the valley. My trip was close to the end. Soon, the dramatic changes began as if somebody swept a wand. The rain unexpectedly has almost ceased. Even a few spots of the blue sky had opened. Soft orange gleam started to glow beneath the formation of a long dark mist just above the ground. I quickly pulled off, took my camera, zoomed the spectacular area, and made this shot. I hope you will enjoy the capture.
