Looking through an office in an abandoned brewery with part of the glass wall broken out on one side.

Another view of the upper landing i had previiously posted, taken in an abandoned stately home and showing smoke damage to the ceiling, you can also see the ‘light wells’ which allowed light to come down from the ceiling to the floors below.

This is the pantry or cold store from an abandoned stately home. The shining smooth wall tiles were used to make sure that the walls could be washed down thoroughly without being porous to water and germs.

Looking down the outside of this abandoned stately home you can see that the windows have had to be boarded in steel to prevent the number of vandals and arsonists who have been in here in the past

Even the interior reinforced windows were all beaten up in this abandoned radar research facility in Scotland.

Emma and I struggled to name this work. It contains images from Nanjing (night city scene), Singapore (sunglasses, ice cream, lighted dragon), the state of Maine, USA, and a Bryce software program volcano, and a Kai’s Power Tools fractal design backed by outer space stars from another Kai program. Whew! So much! But, the sense was a feeling of exuberance, hope, opportunity, energy, determination, energy – all seen and felt by Emma and I in our life together – love of life and each other. Another shot of the Guggenheim Museum exterior in Bilbao, Spain. The building was designed by Frank Gehry. The entire exterior is covered in titanium and from a distance almost resembles an abstract ship. Given that Bilbao is a port town, Gehry intended this. The museum houses modern art of the 20th and 21st centuries and is constantly changing its exhibitions. Unfortunately cameras are not allowed inside, so no photos of the incredible interior are available. But that should give everyone a push to get out and see this awesome building and museum for themselves. Slightly cropped from original and minimal exposure adjustment.
