“Three Susans”, is a testament to the beauty of autumn’s, Black-eyed Susans. It seems the blooms never really decide whether to be yellow, or orange. But in the end it doesn’t matter… they are gorgeous. Three Susans, is done on watercolor paper. The basic color scheme is painted in with watercolor and markers, the finishing is done with color pencil. I used many shades of purple for the background that lends the piece a startling, yet strangely subtle contrast. About this Painting: / EBSQ Award Winner: Members Mention 11/2008 / Materials: color pencil, marker / Media: watercolor paper / Original status: Available
The compression of the image for preview that makes redbubble is very bad and the colors are never real. Here I leave for you the real color palette, as will be printed on your shirt.
