I’ve been spying on Mr. and Mrs. Bluebird ever since they made their nest in a bluebird box in my yard a few weeks ago. Although I watch behind camouflaged drapings, they seem to know I’m there and have become quite tolerant of my presence. The female in particular seems to be curious about my shenanigans and came really close to me, caterpillar in mouth, and just looked and looked in my direction before finally making her treat time delivery to the nestlings. When I used the flash, they seemed to be even more captivated and got bolder and bolder in their approach, wondering what in tarnation was going on behind that camouflage curtain. Oh, it’s been quite fun for all of us, the birds and me.

This is a rescued baby wombat, whose mother was killed by a car. He weighs just 1 kilogram, has only just grown his fur coat, and spends most of the day in his wool pouch sleeping. Whilst in Tasmania, in 1 day I saw 6 dead wombats on the side of the road. I didn’t need to check any of their pouches as two were male and the other 4 were so badly decomposed that no young would have still been alive. I hope someone else who came across them before me checked them. I know that some animal/vehicle collisions can’t be avoided, but I really wish people would slow down and take more care. Some even treat animals on the road as sport and deliberately mow them down. To that I shake my head and really do wonder what the $&&@ is wrong with some people…..

When we think of childhood, we think of carefree days playing with out friends, our toys and having a safe place where we are cared for. Spare a thought for those whose childhood is anything but what I have described, as in the case of this little boy who takes care of his sister when his mother is working. When we feel compassion in our heart, it is heard by God and it vibrates throughout the universe, so spare a moment to feel your compassion for all those litte children out there whose childhood is not bliss, whose stomachs are not full and whose thirst is never quenched. So that our combined compassionate voice may echo through universes and galaxies to be heard by God. So be it. /

They are spinning and creating a light filled with vibration. So, each time they walk in through the doorway, they are filled with the crystals healing energy.
