  • This is a photograph taken for a poster that is part of a campaign for an organization called Noledge working to raise acceptance of cultures through traveling. The reflection in her eyes is the organizations logo. The word vision was placed on the poster together with the tag line let your adventure begin. The idea was to illustrate the experiences you get when you travel. / The other posters illustrated touch, sound and aroma. / The original photograph was take in Sudan 2004. For me this is a photograph that you can (and i know that i do) stare at for ever an always wonder what she is feeling. The eyes draw you in and you want to know what goes on inside. It is a dramatic photo with a bit of mystery which is why I love it!

  • A baby Veiled chameleon using all five of her limbs. You may remember her form the May 2007 issue of National Geographic – the photo was a winner of the monthly “Your Shot” competition. The print size was that of a rather large post stamp – but NOW you can have it as a large laminated or mounted print! nudge nudge

  • Series “The Attic”

  • Beach Bride is a mixed media production on canvas textured paper / I used ink, pastel, acrylic and charcoal, I used layers of thick white paint to achieve texture in her veil and wedding skirt

  • This was designed over the last few days while doing a series of bride illustrations for a friend. I thought they might look sweet on cards. It is drawn on paper with a very thin black pen. May be nice for a bridal shower or if the bride to be is feeling a bit ‘blue’ to cheer her up :)

  • “As we melt let’s make no noise / Oh the profanation of our love / To tell the world our passing joys! / And we, besides, care less to miss / Our eyes and lips and hands.” (But honey, I’m not who you think I am!) mewithoutYou – Everything was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt Stock from Odessa11stock

  • Hello bubble friends, Long time I didn’t upload a real portrait…. I took this time a couple of days ago in Eritrea in the school where we were organizing our art activities. / Some people call them the “ninjas”. Some people throw them stones while they are dressed like that… some people do throw them stones or spit on them when they uncover their faces…. In what world do we leave ? / Just leave the woman alone ! Leave the children alone ! Set them free…. Give them a voice !!! it is what Art in All of Us (www.artinallofus.org) modestly try to do !

  • Make up, and Styling by me as well as the photo, of course.

  • Me again. =) Just experimenting.

  • An often-used way of photographing a pretty girl – with a scarf around her face. Taken outdoors on a sunny day under a large tree giving lovely diffused light. Best viewed large.
