vector graphic created from a pen and ink drawing. Was really inspired by seeing street art and stencil art around Melbourne’s alleyways. Somehow it got into my blood and this illustration came out when playing around one day. Copyright Celia Coulter 2007
HIGH RES VERSION COMING SOON A portrait of a little girl on a Madurai street, Tamil Nadu, India. I was inside a Dosai and Thali restaurant (highly recommended!!) when she waved at me from the street. I couldn’t help but go outside and take the photo.

Cusco, Peru’ ! / While walking in Cusco a few days ago I met this little girl, Flor, and her sister Yolanda ! I had already taken a picture of them last year ” Flor y Yolanda ” and when I showed them a copy of the photo.. they were so impressed that they asked me to take more pictures. This is just one of the many I took ! She is so confident and loves to be photographed !!! I love this picture for the way she poses here, the way she smiles, her spontaneity.. and the beautiful contrast of colors !!!
An outstanding street musician in London :)
This stencil was created in early 2008 inspired by fashion photography and damp cold London. Recently cut stencil with one layer from an older stencil of a zebra in pink on her dress, with hand drawn cobbled stones. The canvas itself is 3 times in length this is just a mere snap shot of the original piece. This piece is 1 of 3, utilising the same same stencil and composition of works I’ve posted on Red Bubble at the moment. The other is ‘snow and umbrella’ and ‘rain birds’
We all spend a part of each day, just waiting for something…a phone call…a bus to come…the traffic to move…the kettle to boil…a holiday…a pay rise…love…happiness…success…a file to upload. / Perhaps you’ve been waiting your whole life for something to happen? / Or maybe it’s just about to…any minute now.
This is one of my favourite shots taken on black and white film and taken in St Mark’s Square in Venice, Italy. I have scanned the print. I like the timelessness of this shot, I think. She was surrounded by the pigeons at first and she didn’t mind. But later, one flew on her head and she minded a lot. I recently made a sale on redbubble with this shot. A matted print in Off White to Lucy, my sister-in-law, in the UK. Many thanks so much for purchasing this. This shot was featured in the Urban Art Group and the I love Italy Group.
Marissa Wynne / May, 2008 This shooting session was so much fun to do.
For the next month (from May 27th onwards) I’m asking people not to leave a comment on my work here. Rather, if you would like to support the work that I do please either leave a comment or upload an image here I can live without comments but homophobia needs your voices Many thanks / Robert Museum Station tunnel, Sydney. There is a moving mural here which looks like smoke or water behind perspex. Stunning backdrop.

A stereotyped french street scene. Looking at the cute young woman, I assume she’s probably dating her boyfriend for the night. / I like the warm colored atmosphere while dusk is falling upon the streets of Strasbourg / France. Larger resolutions available!
Inspired by the amazing song “Time is running out” by Muse (I encourage you to listen it and enjoy this music of deep and intense feelings) This scene was taken in Seville at night, during a street exhibition of the famous photographer Ruven Afanador. This one was perfect to an alternative ilustration of the classical concept “Tempus Fugit” ;P / I’ve also worked with layers here :) / Canon 400D Feature work in Digital Art Compilations group (September 09)
Inspired of the song “Butterflies And Hurricanes” by Muse / Please listen this inspiring music!!! I love specially a phrase of this song: “Change everything you are…” ;) I’ve tried yo mix two differents concepts here. The transience of time and the transgression of conventional norms characteristic of progress ;) But isn’t a photomontage!! This gigant photo of Ruven Afanador collection was showed in the middle of the street in Seville. I only waited the moment to shot at the rider and then I’ve worked with layers. :) Seville, Andalusia (Spain) / Canon 400D Featured work in: / - European Everyday Life group (September 09) / - Inside Only Magazine of the Solo Exhibition group (September 09) / /
