My blue point siamese, Sasha. She showed up one day starving, and skinny, trying to feed herself and two kittens. I adopted all three. She apparently was lost or abandoned at a young age, and has shown some behavior that seems to indicate abuse. It hasn’t broken her spirit though, she is quite obviously the queen of her territory. She is a little over a year old, and is now, healthy, and getting friendlier by the day. She still does not allow petting, but loves to play with toys and take treats from my hand. I plan to donate a portion of sales of any of my cat pictures to our local cat rescue organization SOCKS (Save Our Cats and Kittens). They are a great non-profit organization and no kill shelter that rescues hundreds of cats from being euthanized at other shelters every year.

Vaida’s birthday was on April 30, 2009. She made one years old. I bought her the pink outfit. I thought it was so pretty on her.

(8×10 Mixed Media on Cardstock) I used scrap- booking paper that looked like a grassy field, to which I added the little girl;,then the mason jar & picnic basket,which I applied w/ Pop Dots. The rocks she’s standing near are also scrapbook paper. Lastly,I glued on the quote (printed on Velum paper) and the fabric flower in the girl’s hair (also applied w/Pop-Dots.)
