Photograph “to see a video of Israel Kamakawiwo’Ole” CLICK This is a photograph I took of my youngest daughter. When my daughters were younger, we used to tell Faery stories at bed time and take turns adding to the story. The stories were very long and often times they would be very revealing, these were happy memories for us so…….. I wanted to capture what one of those characters might have looked like, she was a Tree Faery and her hair was a birds nest, egg included.

A photograph with “home made P.S.” the only difference is that the objects were live, hand picked and hand applied. It was made with layers of nature, reflections and things around the house. /

She lives just around the corner but we really don’t see her that much :( / She is a teenager, and is growing up and im sad to say i miss her. Thankyou Mika for making today extra special to me..it will be a day i remember for a long time, and now i have some images to go with the memories. I can only hope you like your photos…I love them!! / You are beautiful :) / edited in photoshop. / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /

For me summer holiday memories are all about bare feet, the sea, the smell of aerogard and barbeques, and long days and warm nights often spent in a caravan park by the ocean. This piece is about all of that, but I also wanted to infuse it with a bit of darkness and mystery …Holiday villages are so full of life and colourful characters by day, but at night when all have gone to bed and secured their temporary little homes, they can be quite strange and creepy…

Model – Meluxine The height of winter, she’s laying on wet frozen ground, in a vintage dress and my ugg boots, full to the brim with Hungry Jacks, watching me dance like a crazy person with a head cold around her when suddenly the sun breaks through right at the perfect moment, and she manages to pull of that look like it’s as easy as microwave popcorn. / This girl rocks. Canon 40D + available [overcast] light. / The film versions are pretty cool too. Copyright 2008 Harmony Nicholas
