Another of my faceless Black Biro drawings. Developed a liking for these
Pen and Terracotta pencil on tea stained paper. I think this looks better in person, I hate that. Original for sale.
I just had to draw this beautiful girl. Blue biro.
Ink, pencil & watercolour on Fabriano Tiepolo paper.
Ink on paper drawing
Not sure if I’m finished with this one yet, I’d like to add more but I also like the simplicity and white space, would look great as a card as is. Will also be making this one available on a tee asap too. / Pen and pencil drawing. / ZOOM IN for detail.
VIEW LARGER to see detail. Also available in prints.
I drew this a few years back when I was first experimenting with pen and watercolours. / I’ve always liked the drawing but not known what to do with it, so I’ve kept it simple and added it to the bubble!

Ink and colored pencil in paper
This started off as a sketch for my Wonderland artwork series (it was going to be Alice and the Caterpillar- but the caterpillar gradually morphed into this dragon and I felt like doing a primarily pen-and-ink work this time around. So Alice was put on the backburner for a little bit and instead we have a little girl and her dragon friend set against a silver sky with a blue moon. One only knows what they could be talking about….. Original artwork measures 12.5×19 inches approx. and is for sale (email redeye@designbyredeye.com to inquire). Medium is primarily pen and ink, with some silver sharpie and blue marker in the background. On sky blue Canson Mi-Tientes acid-free art paper. View more of my artwork at lynnetteshelley.com
BEAUTIFUL ASIA SERIES Pen and Ink ORIGINAL SOLD 2009 This drawing was inspired by a photograph of Alexandra Felgate. Kindly used with permission as part of the Bubblers portraits group. / I did not try for a true likeness this time, but rather an essence I hope (hence the title). It seemed appropriate to use as part of my Asian series as Alexandra’s detailed and delicate paintings/drawings always remind me of Japanese Art. I hope to use the reference picture again. Alexandra’s Photo Alexandra’s Gallery Thank you so much to Alexandra Felgate for posting this photo of Essence (the original). Hugs xx /
