  • not sure where I was going on this work.

  • Pastel water colour and mixed media illustration with a whimsical bent, exploring the themes of blaance, beauty and Autumn.

  • Inspired by the journeys of the heart through dreaming. This illustration is an exploration into outside influences on the heart specifically when ones eye’s are closed, when the resonance of the day echoes through the night. I’m interested in elements that stir the emotions including music, relationships and even the weather outside your bedroom window; All influencing the fluctuations of the heart. This illustration began with some pressed flowers, a rough pencil sketch and pen and then finished off with photoshop.

  • Oil Pastel and Acrylic Ophelia dreamed she was on a journey to a foreign land. In that land, she encountered an exotic purple flower with 3 petals. Though strange in appearance,it had the most calming and relaxing scent Ophelia has ever known. Ophelia was most reluctant to leave this flower and its’ scent when she knew her dream odyssey had to come to an end soon. However, all endings are simply preludes to new beginnings :D / / View other “Dream Odyssey” creations in my Zazzle store: / / /

  • I lost about 8 years of work due to a accidental click of a delete key in 2004, I stupidly had not backed up the work. Two days ago while clearing out the loft I found the photo of the girl with some others I thought had been lost forever, phew. The shot of the girl was taken in Sailsbury, Wiltshire, UK 2002 at a Civil War Reenactment and the the background is a lovely walk through Ashridge, Bedfordshire UK, which I took yesterday, I have added a few textures to the overall blend. The composite work has been done in photoshop CS4. I hope you like it. Greeting Cards / Framed Print / Girl / Canon D60, 70-200mm at 200mm, f/5.6, 1/250 sec, ISO 400. / No filters used and hand held.
