Drew this earlier today at a local cafe. Actually, it was an old lady sitting there…but I drew my own hair and clothes…so I guess its me, really. Not sure if I’m finished with it just yet. medium: blue biro on 185gsm smooth tooth watercolour paper size: 29.7cm x 42cm (A3) currently listening to: Waiting for a Star to Fall, by Boy Meets Girl
featured on the front page of redbubble!!! (6 march) Feathers are so cool aren’t they? I love them. / Apart from being beautiful, to me they represent freedom. / I want a tattoo of this on my foot to remind me to always be free to be me. This Peacock bird feather was originally hand painted by me onto canvas. Enjoy! peace JJ
Yet another example of one of my drawings combined with collage. I can’t get a decent scan of this, but you will get some idea from it. By the way, I did all the pen and ink work in the background too.

A quick pen and ink lady. Shes sexy and conident.
I fought and struggled with this illustration for the good part of a day. I’d been confronting a drawers block and thinking about what I’d do with my life when I came home from the farm. I realised I couldn’t let her get the better of me and I couldn’t give up. So I gave the girl, Dorothy, a bike and Berlina a chicken companion. After that the colours flowed and the look of stubbornness became a look of determination. (Dorothy and Berlina are characters from Return to Oz)
