  • / “Now available as a LARGE print” Sales of this Design? – 3 sales so far :) / / Girl on Red Wall is from the ‘Asia Series’ of cards by Karin Taylor Girl on Red Wall is a mixed media production on canvas textured paper utilising ink, pastel, charcoal and acrylic in the rendering. It was a fun piece that has been popular, the original has already been sold to a doctor in Queensland, and prints requested overseas. It’s funny, the paintings you don’t think will be popular, are the ones that receive the most interest sometimes. I have grown to love Girl on Red Wall very much, and would now like to share her with you

  • Self portrait _everybody’s cleared the room / and they’ll dress you up / stand you in all the right places / words like honey / smile as they change your faces / with no regard to you at all / and you find they treat you like a paper doll (Paper Doll – Rachael Yamagata) _

  • self portrait, natural light.

  • (Self portrait) Dark shines / Bringing me down / Making my heart feel sore / Because it’s good

  • (self portrait) Hey, what did you hear me say / you know the difference it makes / what did you hear me say Yes, I said it’s fine before / I don’t think so no more / I said it’s fine before / I’ve changed my mind / I take it back Erase and rewind / ‘cause I’ve been changing my mind / I’ve changed my mind So where did you see me go / it’s not the right way, you know / where did you see me go / No, it’s not that I don’t know / I just don’t want it to grow / It’s not that I don’t know / I’ve changed my mind / I take it back

Inspired by poetry: What was he saying and to whom / by Alan Michael Parker What was he saying and to whom? / With a silver thermos he left the building; / He paused in the courtyard and turned. / What was he saying and to whom? The building at dawn not yet a building / Paused the way all buildings do. / What was he saying and to whom? Time doesn’t stop; time doesn’t wait; / Time has never moved. / What was he saying and to whom? If the dog had been sleeping / She would not have awakened, / So small was the moment to lose. / What was he saying and to whom? What was he saying and to whom? / The courtyard at dawn was the same / As the sky, the sky swept clean by the moon. / What was he saying and to whom? Good morning, good-bye, I love you, I’ll try. / What was he saying and to whom? Model my fave! Music-Jim Croce

  • sales so far – 1 sale :) / / A recent drawing, coloured in Photoshop / This little miss is sipping on a cup of tea, enjoying her brand new hairdo!! Her pet bird sits atop singing sweet tunes…and other birds have come to rest upon her pinky finger and on her shoulder A sweet card or print for your girlfriends’ birthdays and special occasions.

  • Summer Breeze a beautiful poem by the same title by a dear friend of mine Anne Van Alkemade / Inspired by the song Summer Breeze / by Seals and Croft Also inspired by myself and my experience of having bugs and insects come to try and take up residence in my ears… scrabbling around in there, getting all comfy…while I’m going crazy…click beetles, houseflies and spiders so far have all tried this… lol This is a girl who has an affinity with nature, and as the summer breezes begin to blow here in Australia…....the animals are drawn to live in her hair thinking that it must be branches of a tree… yes, my hair’s that dry… :) I thought it a fitting one for summer, hope you like her… Pencil drawing took me about 3 hours / Digital colouring – 10 hours / Total time 13 hours

  • / Half coloured, thank you to gottheshot friend and fellow bubbler for the idea! / I have also a softer pink version, I would really appreciate some feedback as to which version you like the best, thank you :) / / / Original drawing, please note the actual rainbow that appeared on the drawing from light coming in through the trees outside the window of my studio, hence her name…. Bramble Rainbowtree…. she throws her arms skyward reaching to the heavens above… spots, stripes, flowers and streamers are added to convey the celebration and joyfulness in her spontaneous gesture…. ...Little Bramble Rainbowtree began as a little pencil drawing inspired by my beautiful niece Maya, who has the longest hair ever! This so reminds me of her, except that Maya’s hair is much more beautiful and much darker in colour. ...I have coloured Bramble Rainbowtree digitally, I hope you like this special fairy :) ...a great little vintage design for big and little girls, friends, birthdays, gifts, bedroom decor, nursery walls, etc.
