Decided to give 3D Rendering a shot, I started late last week, then my laptop crashed and had to get a new pc….then had to get it all set up, so I’ve only been at this for under a week..be gentle. LOL I hope you like them.

The ‘Fringe and Face’ stencil I created early 2008, came to me as a piece in a dream early August 2008 which was similar to this piece. In the dream it was red not purple. Different to many of my other recent works, I was very happy with the final result and I am looking at making another one that will be in red, black, white and greys.

This is one of four geishas I have made. I love the crisp, clean and formal look of Japanese art. I had fun choosing the moire fabric for the jet black straight hair, the colorful fabrics for the kimono and the grey background with the trailing flowers. / What I have observed from the traditional Japanese culture is; every aspect of their lives evolves around design, beauty and tranquility. The presentation of themselves, their home, outside environment, their foods and movements are intentional.

I shot this during a visit Pierre Grey Lakes. I actually dont remember if it was dusk or dawn but it was so beautiful I had to capture it. Shout out to Matt Dawkins for the original edit. I ended up taking out a gravel path in the background otherwise it would be his up here instead of mine!
