Chomp!
Toffee – Always looking at ways to get into mischief!
Vincent’s Cat Recently I’ve been looking at Vincent Van Gogh’s paintings. I love his irises and wanted to paint some myself. Their complicated forms and brilliant deep blues captivated me. As some of you may know I have a fondness for cats. During my life I have had two exceptional ginger cats ‘Victor’ and ‘Mittens’ who were very dear to me; this is dedicated to their memory. Acrylic on canvas / Size: 30cm x 30cm
She brings warm winds, tempestuious rain squalls, an explosion of flowers and new leaves and… mosquitos. Drawn specifically on request for a cross stitching friend of mine, who needed her for a trade. The cross stitched version is wonderful!

First macro with my new camera. My remote doesn’t fit on this model so I had a bit of shutter shake & a bit of movement from the air-con (it was 41 degrees here today).
I noticed how green the relection was in this photo….So couldn’t resist yet another reflection image! 100% of the proceeds received from Redbubble will go to The_Red_Cross_Victorian_Bushfires_Appeal until 30th June 2009.
Illustration of a ginger tabby cat curled up cosily in a coffee or tea cup. Distinctly imaginative and perfect for lovers of all things feline, or related to coffee or tea cups!
In my search for Sydney letterboxes ,) I come across moments and opportunities. So, I am beginning a collection of some of these inner City Sydney moments: ‘Blink and You’ll Miss It’ - This image was recently used by DannyNolan in his journal entry EPIC / It’s a great read so check it out. / - Although this might look like a feral inner city cat, he was simply yawning after dozing on a possibly warm motorcycle engine on the first sunny and dry day in Sydney in what seemed like weeks. The other shots I took are friendly and sleepy…but this was a killer. Thanks to MBartworks for the cool title.

As is. He was so interested in his paw that he let me get close…...my Sweetie!! Cats are cats not dogs or very furry people. They’re true to themselves and their world view. I respect and love them for this surety of purpose, even though their “catness” confounds and frustrates me sometimes. This particular cat, my Sweetie, is the absolute cat-est cat I ever met! /

Subiaco, Western Australia My beautiful friend, glowing at 8 months pregnant. She is standing in the window on a few telephone books to get her bump into the space. I really wanted to show the gorgeous curves of her body in a simple and soft way. I loved taking these photos and have since taken pics of her gorgeous son.
I passed a pasture and had to stop. These two were peacefully munching. Only one of them acknowledged me.
Luckily I still have some photos with a bit of color!
