Phone Box In Alport Village.Derbyshire.UK Photo Express Colour Edited. The red telephone box, a public telephone kiosk designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, is a familiar sight on the streets of the United Kingdom, Malta, Bermuda and Gibraltar, and despite a reduction in their numbers in recent years, red boxes can still be seen in many places and current or ex-British Colonies around the world. The colour red was chosen to make them easy to spot. /

The Giles Track is a road I travel down every week and I always make sure that I pull up let the crew jump out to get a few snaps and play in the sand for a while. The Track itself is a short cut from Luritja Rd which is the access road for Kings Canyon and the Stuart Highway which is the only North – South highway in the centre of Australia. It stretches a distance of 100km and covers many different environmental systems from red sand dunes through gibber plains to the unknown and unphotographed James Ranges. This road is suitable for 4×4 only but this doesn’t stop insane tourist from destroying their rental cars and campers along this road. At different times of year the track can be covered in deep sand resulting in cars with low clearance getting bogged up to the axles. I have lost count of the times that I have been the first on the scene and had to totally destroy my afternoon digging and dragging them out. Took this yesterday-of this very olde Church in a quaint village in the heart of the country – with the St Georges Day Flag flying proudly! The church was rebuilt in 1732, and restored in 1852. There are national schools and alms houses.-The hundred includes West Woodyates parish, and is in Wimborne division HDR Treatment. Taken with a fuji Finepix Digital camera
I took this shot near the Stoke Poges memorial gardens which is in Buckinghamshire. It is one of the doors on the side of St Giles Church, which dates from Saxon times and it looks as though the door is that old. I hope you like it and thank you so much for viewing my work, please call back again soon.
