I went to the lake very early in the morning ,it was pretty cold but it was worth it ,it looks like the trees were in fire.Oh! UNTOUCHED…JUST A YELLOW FILTER ADDED. / This was takeen at Lake L’Achigan,St-Hippolyte,Quebec,Canada / I was comming back from breakfast in the village where I live when I saw this scene ,I stoped ,couldn’t beleive that I wasn’t able to see on the other side of the lake.Heavy fog and soft light gave me the opportunity to do this image,I just love it ,makes me think of an old painting.If you look carefully ,you will see the other side’s shadow.The reflection was great because there were no fog in front of me just on the other side.A very foggy sunrise it was.When I did this shot it thought about «Water world» and how our the planet is beautiful even with a little piece of land. / / / /

A little pond near my home.The water was beginning to freeze,for me this scene shows the immobility we feel between two seasons.I have several shot of that pond,it’s a quiet place,I often go there just to be with myself and listen to the sound of nature.

The making of that image is so simple,with Picasa I put the two pics together,one of a macro shot of bark without cropping and a portrait of my boyfriend listenning to his friends sitting at the patio table.I darked arround a little and that’s it.I didn’t have to do ajustment for the eye and the ear,it’s like the two pics were meant to fit together… :))) / I sold a matted print on the 29 th of november 08 to an unknown bubbler and that image was edited in the book “Gaïa the living planet” Same processing as Torn / When I did that image I thought about how menkind should be more united with the earth ,to feel renewed by the the contact of nature to become a better individuaL,TO BECOME A FREE THINKER.As long as we are trying to control the earth nothing good will come out of it,I often thought that we should be more like trees who are the lungs of our beautiful planet. / My friend C.C Arshagra wrote a wonderful poem inspired by this image,C.C realy understood what I felt when I named that piece. / That poem is called The Free Thinker would.. /

Hello ! Everybody I was surprised by the great responding of that picture ,that’s why i came back for more explanations.It’s true that i live in a place where nature is the queen .I’m surrounding by lakes ,trees and mountains,my friend Michel is always talking about moving but i want to die here.I’ve been creating a garden for four years now,getting pretty.No neighbors in front ,in the back only on both sides and i never see them .The only bug ,no sunsets and sunrises,i have to take the car ….big thing …. / there a preserve aria belonging to the «Université de Montreal» that means no constructions for many,many yearsThe place i took that pic.is two minutes from my house.The many comments i had made me realise how lucky i am to live in a place like that .THANKS TO ALL OF YOU. I took this picture near the beach where I took my waterscapes «Fog and fire»«liquid diamonds»«fire and ice »«land of fire»while going on the other part of the camp at the other beach.It was very foggy as you can see and the scene was realy magic .The same morning I took« Mirage» and «HEADLAND» but those where taken at the other part of the lake.That’s why I have so many picture with fog.Every time fog is there I ‘m out and very early of course ,it’s so quiet and magic .Walking in the woods is a real passion …but that you already know….inspired from the movie /

I was outside,far from my grand-dauther,looking at an exibition when I turned my head and saw Angelica trying to stay on the narrow side of the fontain.It was about 5.30 p.m and the sun was going through the water,it was magical.Taken at “Le jardin Botanique de Montréal” /

This picture was taken on a golf place,it’s on a top of a mountain,very impressive to walk over there.That’s the reason for the sharp line.I put a crescent of a moon and add a little bit of blue…et voilà. We can feel alone but being part of nature is the key for happiness , an invidual renewed by all the beautiful thinks arround us . / / /

Mr.Roland died two days after I took that picture,he was a realy good friend and I use to tease him a lot.He was blind but always recognised me because he knew my voice«Ah!....« Gigi de St-Hippolyte»he used to say , holding my hand.He never asked for much only to organised his meal in a way he could easily eat by himself and to give him his chaplet for the ceremony on sundays.A great person , very generous and smiling all the time.The worst part for him was not being able to go to the bathroom ,I think that idea killed him ,he was so proud.He died very peacefully with her daughter and son ,hand in hand .The hand you see in the picture is his son’s .Let’s say that if I wasn’t passionnate about my job I couldn’t do it . / /

An untouched close up(with exposure)of a submerged brige when a few beaver’s dams just collaps a couple of nights ago.I couldn’t drink or even used the water in my house for 2 days.We were not able to go out of our area for a day.It happenned at night and we could hear the raging fload so loud,it was amazing.The firemen were at the bridge watching when I took that close-up.This image is the result of the destroyed bridge,half of it just went along with the water,a very impressive scene to see and to hear because of the dead trees and rocs rolling over the road.The little touches of colors you see are the reflection comming from the lights of the firemen’s truck.I didn’t know if I would have enough light,in fact I didn’t have any idea about the result.I thought about using exposure for the creamy texture….I just remember that my boyfriend kept asking me,how much time you still need,5 or 10 min. and I answered 15 …. :)) He wanted to go to sleep,it was 1 o’clock in the morning. / / /
