The River Derwent, Rowlands Gill I saw this patch of the river where some water came down the hill to the river into this little pool cut off by the leaves, the water coming in was making a little whirlpool with the leaves… and you wouldn’t believe how cold i got paddling through the river to take this photo! unbelievably cold. As i took this i was standing knee deep in the Derwent, with my jeans rolled up to my knees and my hiking boots wrapped around my neck, have never felt more like a hobbit… Date: 5.11.07 / Temp: 7* Approx / Focal Length: 32mm / Camera make & model: Nikon D50 / Shutter Speed: 5 secs / Aperture: f29 / ISO: 200
