I was just looking thru my ghost gum series and had the thought about how nice it would to be one, every year no matter how old you get, you get a new skin, glistening, bright, renewing life, renewing its’ energy, shedding the old skin and providing a new source of beauty every year. I have taken photos to preserve how they look this year but I know that next year when it happens, it will be just as spectacular and beautiful as it was this year but they will change in some slight way and that is something to look forward to.
