  • Fuchsias are just beautiful. They always remind my Mum and I of ballerinas.

  • Acrylic on glass

  • pretty! I used to call these asylums… cos I always had a blonde moment when I went to say the word alyssum.

  • Another fucshia! This is the same flower as Floral Ballerina but shows her legs dancing.

  • Digital butterflies on purple

  • Digital butterflies on green

  • Almond tree in flower in the Southern Flinders Ranges of South Australia

  • Almond in flower with one of nature’s hardest workers, the bee.

  • It’s not really a field, just one plant pretending to be many.

  • Another fucshia! This is the same flower as Floral Ballerina but shows her legs dancing.

  • Buzzing and collecting pollen from one tiny daisy after another. This bee went to at least 30 flowers in the space of about 1 minute. The tiny toiler then did a flyby over the next daisy bush before it flew away.

  • Buzzing and collecting pollen from one tiny daisy after another. This bee went to at least 30 flowers in the space of about 1 minute. The tiny toiler then did a flyby over the next daisy bush before it flew away. / / I decided that it needed something and after playing with the b&w of the carts thought I’d try this. I like it!

  • Lots of rain drops falling from the sky and falling gently on the garden.

  • Much awaited rain dripping from the leaves of a rose bush.

  • I love the way the drips of rain are perched together on the end of the leaf.

  • Found these strange flowers growing in the garden of the Festival Theatre in Adelaide! Aren’t they a great idea! We should all grow them… do you think they need fertiliser?

  • A gorgeous daisy bush near our garden is flowering… I couldn’t resist the urge to add it to my collection!

  • The Queen of Hearts didn’t need to get the paint out for this rose bush… they’re already a beautiful red! Their petals are like velvet and it has the most beautiful aroma.

  • Playing with the filters of photoshop…

  • A lone daisy bursting into bloom with all the colours of the sun.

  • A digital painting of the lone paper daisy with petals of all the colours of the sun. I used photoshop and the cool brushes and filters to make it into a painting of sorts.

  • The delicate buds of the bamboo grow into larger buds dipped in pink just before they burst into flower. / This is the Japanese bamboo, not the huge stuff that grows over 3 metres high and takes over the garden.

  • I’m not sure of the name of this pretty little flower. If anyone knows, please don’t hesitate to say!
