  • For the Baby Faces of Bubblers group… just so we could all see how adorable we once were :D Nothing like giving a koala a cuddle!!! I was 4 years old and we were visiting Cleland Wildlife Park. That dress was pale blue gingham… taken back when I just loved wearing girly things!! Baby Faces of Bubblers group was from Sept 2008 to Jan 2009… it was great while it lasted!!

  • For the Baby Faces of Bubblers group… just so we could all see how adorable we once were :D Best friends!!! I was 4 years old and we were visiting Cleland Wildlife Park. Who’d have thought kangaroos loved cheezels? There’s 5 or 6 photos of me with this kangaroo… whoever was taking the photo must have thought taking pics of the two of us was much better than getting the cheezels from the roo!!! Baby Faces of Bubblers group was from Sept 2008 to Jan 2009… it was great while it lasted!!

But then she grew up!!! For the Baby Faces of Bubblers group… just so we could all see how adorable we once were :D With all these baby bubblers popping out of the woodwork, I’ve put work aside to join them. I look nothing like any of them anymore… apart from the blonde hair!!

  • I took this on the same day I took Sunny Storm on Oct. 4, 2008 with an Olympus FE-220 during our class trip to Villa D’este. I thought this spiral stair was pretty cool; and looking at it again, it looks like a 9.

  • Rogue n Rascal's adventure around the world ... in Adelaide w GG - Day One

As you may know by now, there are 3 RedBubble Devils travelling around the world, making various housecalls to all the Bubblers on The List and sending postcards and letters using good old snail mail, back to their brothers in Tasmania. After having a wonderful time with Donna Adamski in Florida, Rogue and Rascal arrived in Adelaide on May 27, jetlagged but full of scams for causing trouble. / Chaos n Anarchy and Cedric n Beau are enjoying themselves somewhere else (thankfully… imagine the wreckage they’d cause if they travelled together!!). After showing off their passport (proof they were allowed back into Australia), they promptly started trying to ring everyone they knew on my mobile and shred my work. Thankfully they couldn’t get passed the extra strong lock on the phone but the patterns have seen better days (the phone has a sliding lock, but their paws were too fluffy!!! What a shame.) / / I don’t think my Dad’s going to be very impressed when he sees the teethmarks on his lace bobbins which he spent many hours creating on his lathe. / I promised them if they behaved, I’d add another stamp to their book before sending them on their way to CathieT but you can guess what they did next after spotting Socks sleeping on her beanbag. Yep, little ratbags… one of their fave things to do, torment the cats in their travels. Obviously, nobody’s told them that somewhere in their deep deep past, they’re related (that’s what one 10 year old who knows everything told me!!). / / But she must have said something scary, cos the next thing I know, they were hiding in her cathouse… / You’d think they would have learnt that this cat meant what she said, but no… they insisted of asking Frog Prince for help to torment her, but when he wouldn’t turn into a prince from their sloppy devilish kisses, they jumped on him! Poor thing… / OMG… I thought she was going to eat them, but instead they submitted and then begged for mercy. / / Just as well, you know, because Socks has really sharp claws. Just ask our blue carpet!!! While chatting to Frog Prince, RnR noticed that the little owl was guarding a box of chalk. What harm can come from letting them draw on the ground? At least they waited till they got outside before making their mark!!! / I sent them to my bedroom for a rest (after such excitement of frogs, cats and chalk…!!!) but instead of sleeping, like they said they wanted to do, they went fishing… Feng Shui fish too. Talk about fussy eaters!!! These 48 Goldfish were painted by Energymagic so I know they’d be pretty tasty and good for their souls, but I didn’t tell them that… I told them they’d be better off chasing the fish in the tank in the kitchen, but they said they don’t like boring old grey tetras… not spicy enough!! / RnR didn’t know where the kitchen was, so stopped and asked Ruffles the Dog for directions (and how to get past Socks, cos she was still looking for them, something about chewing her mice). / Socks caught up with them at the back door and showed them the world outside… I’d love to know how she knows so much, because she doesn’t even get out there herself!! / RnR met The Fairy at the bottom of the garden… / Chatted to the frogs guarding the weeds… / Had a go at gardening with miniature brass tools which they thought were made just for them. / / They soon got bored with that and discovered the rain water tank and tried to climb inside. Lucky its not too high, so I could stop them. But not before they almost got stuck!!! / Rogue n Rascal just don’t like being told and tried to leap over the back gate to freedom (of course they didn’t realise it was also my front gate and only went to the front yard!!!). / What a day… And Zac’s not even home from school yet… Wait till later, when they get to go watch Zac go bowling!!!

You know, we are all very lucky to have so many places in the virtual universe to show off our work. We even have online shops which allow us to sell anything and everything from artwork for the walls to clothing and shoes to wear. And we enjoy having these shops for such a fantastic price … zero!! So I’d just like to send out a public THANK YOU to those that paved the way and created our fantastic world of red bubbles!! / You are the ones who started me on this wonderful journey by creating RedBubble… this in turn brought me new friends, new discovery, inspiration, and took me back to my old creative self (with a slight techy twist). For all you wonderful friends I met along the way… here are lots of {{{hugs}}} and xxx for you :D (gushy I know, but thats just tough!!) Just as a Look ma, no hands type of thing, here are a few of the places I was introduced to… Georgiegirl at Zazzle is a fantastic online store. Not that I’ve sold more than one badge (thanks to Udonchow) and even though it takes a while to do, it’s easy to add new products… of which are many to choose from! Apparently it has a forum to chat in too, but I’ll leave that alone. I figure I’ve enough to do and chatting in FB, RB and Twitter is enough for me!!! GeorgiegirlofRB chirps at Twitter somewhere to chat to myself via the universe. I love this place… its so simple to do. Just type out a thought or a few thoughts in mini chapters. From here I signed up for Tweburb and Twibes but have done nothing! Of course it would help if I knew what I was meant to do in them! On the to do later list :D I have a blog called Floating Around in Bubbles. Just a place to brag about everything… but so much for writing every week. But that last one was written in April or May… talk about slack!! Will get onto that today too. Now, what to write about? hmmmm… think think think (all that comes is the rhyme by Pooh Bear about thinking and rumble tee tums!!!). My newest portfolio is at Behance another place to show off my artwork and photography. It looks a bit blaze at the moment because I just joined up… I’ll add some artwork very very (very) soon! Georgiegirl_oz at Cafepress Not much happening there… its been a bit neglected. GeorgieGirlis at Flickr A virtual gallery of my photos. Named Georgiegirlis because I didn’t think of GeorgiegirlofRB (GG of RB) when I joined up. Hindsight is a marvellous thing… except my timemachine is on the blink!! Again :D / Time I gave my gallery some TLC and uploaded a few photos, which I’ll do today. edit… Just popped over to open it into my tabs. Geez its changed a bit!!! Oh well… next on the must do today list is CP and Zazzle! Plurk not that I’ve been there for ages… my lack of karma shows that! Never mind… it was fun while it lasted!! I’m sure there are more because I’ve so many bookmarks in this browser!! I don’t think I’ll add ‘cleaning out the bookmarks’ to the list of jobs to do, because that’ll take sooooooo long. Its like cleaning out the bookcase (who does that?) or toy cupboard… you end up either reading or playing with whatever you’re cleaning out!!! Or is that just me? hmmmm…

if he’s dead / then he is. / if not, / he’s a bastard / for leaving me / with sharks… / ...a small child says. / He will not mean it for more than a moment. He is not talking about truth; / he is talking about hurt. / He is not describing abandonment; / he is describing its pain. / He is not referring to a single point; / He is referring to a cycle; / played over and over again… the boy says: his brother, sister, other sel(ves) sa(id) “i don’t believe you” / and the boy knows that he never did / he had something else to believe / and in believing it, created it. / What the boy was, said, did, and am / did not always fit / so he waited, looked, and pushed / for things that fit / until they fit.
