  • The view is of the Kieler Förde on the coast of northern Germany.

  • This was taken in a forest in Faid, Germany. The fog and sun light were perfect.

  • Aachen Germany. OM-3. 21mm. Ilford 3200 film. 1/3/2001 this was a very difficult shot as it was dusk and i was without a tripod. a flash would have bounced off the glass. super high speed film was my only option. the grain is natural for this speed film. I wanted DOF to get the inside of the shop as well as the man in the window. not the best technically, but one of my favorites.

  • For all the Kraftwerk fans out there who want to pay respect!

  • I spent Xmas and new year in Germany in the forest , this is what it looked like . This picture was taken in the “Taunus” mountain range, about 70km North West of Frankfurt. The next bigger towns are called “Weilburg” and “Braunfels” / —-—-—-—-—— / Sally Omar / got inspired by This work and wrote this Romantic Poem to go with this Image , Thank you my friend. FROZEN Two young friends walking through the woods / It was cold and the ground was FROZEN..the trees were iced / And they giggled and laughed as they usually would / They had been friends since they were children..always nice / But this one day would change their lives like no other / The Creator looked down with the warmth of his smile / And these two young friends turned out to be lovers / The Creator saw the love they shared within / The purity of the FROZEN earth and how they were glorified / In the beauty of this place and how they were without sin / His eyes sparkled as he looked at these young friends, he sighed / Such purity and love of the FROZEN land / They are so innocent and so in love with life / And they appreciate so the work of My Hand / He warmed their hearts as though they were on fire / Their first kiss was under a tree iced by the Creator’s bliss / And they looked at each other with such burning desire / They stood under the tree and could not again help but kiss / Then gazed at each other with complete surprise / Looked around at the FROZEN earth and it all came into view / They realized the iced beauty of this place opened their eyes / And looked at each other and said I love you / The story goes on to say they lived in love for all of their days / When they left this world to go on to the better Place / They were allowed to go to the Forest where they first fell in love / Where it was magnificently FROZEN and the trees iced and brisk / The Creator smiled again and watched from above / As they shared a beautiful wonderful last FROZEN kiss.

  • The Path in wonderland. / I Love this image a lot , Spiritually i would call it / ” The road less traveled ” which is also a title of a book that i enjoy reading. / —-—-—-—-—-—— Sally Omar / got inspired by my work and wrote this amazing Poem to go with this Image ,Thank you sally / —-—-—-—-—-—- THE PATH There is The Path of the unknown / Where I walked all alone / No one there by my side / Afraid to run wanting to hide / But as I walked there was such peace / All my fears suddenly ceased / I felt the hand of God calling to me / And the trees and the clouds guiding me / I walked this Path and felt no fear / Knowing that our Maker was near / I prayed aloud wanting Him to listen / Asking him what was my mission / I heard a Voice say down to me / Be a good person and one day you’ll see / A Heaven that is beyond reverie / You shall be honored at the Gate / Where your Lord and God await / So turn around it’s not your time / Live your life and you’ll do fine / When you’re ready for this Wonderland / I will be there to hold your hand.

  • By The Reichstag, Berlin one overcast friday morning in April. They were oblivious, besotted. I was about 4 or 5 metres from them taking shots of people crossing on a suspended walkway between two lagre government buildings. I swung my lens around more than a couple of times for some candid photography. They really were oblivious, bless ‘em. A question – do people in love always close their eyes just before they kiss like here?

  • ANGEL EYES I know that I’m not the first one / You’ve had love in your path before me / But when your lips touched my lips / It felt like I was kissing destiny Angel eyes with your angel eyes / Will you always be there to hold me / Angel eyes, I am satisfied / I don’t want to hear your story / ‘Cause I can see the things / I really want to see / I am in love I believe in what I’m feeling / I’d give everything up just for you / Love is devoted to those who see / That the last dance you dance with a truth Angel eyes with your angel eyes / Will you always be there to hold me / Angel eyes, I am satisfied / I don’t want to hear your story / ‘Cause I can see the things / I really want to see / In your eyes Angel eyes just want you here to hold me / Angel eyes…

  • I believe this image has somehow created itself out of my subconscious…it seems to represent my childhood in GDR (East Germany) where I’ve been living a simple and happy life blissfully unaware of the restrictions that lay ahead and the lack of freedom…. It was not until later that I’ve realized how trapped I felt. Speaking your mind was dangerous and critizing the regime was certainly the quickest way to get locked up. Trying to leave the country could easily turn into a death sentence but obeying was too. Interesting documentary about the German wall on YouTube here I created this image for the Texture challenge in the Fine Art Composite group. I used four of my own photographs and various textures. Two of the textures (Splatter and Crystals) were kindly supplied by RavenSoul to be used for the challenge. Featured in the European Everyday Life group on 15 Mar 2009. • The Gods are dead: no longer do we bring / To grey-eyed Pallas crowns of olive-leaves! / Demeter’s child no more hath tithe of sheaves, / And in the noon the careless shepherds sing, / For Pan is dead, and all the wantoning / By secret glade and devious haunt is o’er: / Young Hylas seeks the water-springs no more; / Great Pan is dead, and Mary’s son is King. And yet—perchance in this sea-tranced isle, / Chewing the bitter fruit of memory, / Some God lies hidden in the asphodel. / Ah Love! if such there be, then it were well / For us to fly his anger: nay, but see, / The leaves are stirring: let us watch awhile. (Oscar Wilde)

  • this is really importan picture, made with the remnants of the berlin wall, at that place, where the first crack was done. I was born in east berlin, my parents were east. The wall fell when I was 3 years old, but my parents were still east. I grew up in east berlin, had eastern teachers and friends. For me, berlin and germany, was always one. but for them, it was always seperated. They tried to teach me that, but I didn’t listen. It was just annoying to me. I try to make all of mine frustration on that topic, and some critism, that this wall still exist in some heads 20 years after it fell, into a picture. during the time I made this picture, I was in love with a girl from westberlin – who rejected me. That’s probably one topic of this picture is love. / Those two people on the picture, my friends, were in love with each other at that time. Allthough they never got together. They never could confess their feelings. It’s just like there’s been this invisible wall beetween them. This was the first time, I could make one of my visions, my frustration, my feelings and other feelings into one picture. After that, I took photography more seriously. But at that shooting, I was just happy. I was finally able to say something, I always wanted to say.

  • This shot was taken in Saarbruecken (Germany) during a pause. This two young men are fabulous dancers. Jean M. Laffitau
