This is my pet lemming that was badly abused and left at the front desk of our animal shelter. Someone had ripped off one of her ears and she hadn’t eaten in days. But now she lives in a 5 feet by 4 feet, 3 story cage with her friend Fred Jr., the hermit crab, which she has been known to ride on occassion. Tao (on the right) and Zen (on the left) are my gerbils, this is thier birthday card. I hope they won’t expect a real sunflower seed that big, but I’ll be sure to give them lots of treats for thier birthday! X3

my daughter has given her permission that i add this!!!!! she will be 20 years old at the end of this month!even she laughs whenever she views it!!! she was 8 months old in this! the gerbils of the world can feel safe with their food stores now her cheeks are smaller!!!!!

Hannah has 2 new pets! This is Kiki the gerbil. Took me at least 1/2 hr to get them both out of their cage today! They are living in our old hamster’s cage, the problem is it has tubes etc and only one place to get them out! They just scurry around at a 100mph and are impossible to catch! Canon EOS 500D

This is Hannah’s other gerbil, Coco. Despite always being harder to catch, she was less manic to photograph! Never owned gerbils before, so just hoping they tame like hamsters and can be easily caught eventually! Just thought they would be more fun than a Hamster as they firstly live happily together and secondly are diurnal so a bit more fun! Canon EOS 500D

Pressurised by Hannah I got out the Xmas decorations today! Poor Kiki one of our gerbils, was tasked with posing for me! She actually seemed to have a ball, running around going in and out, over and under all the tinsel! Canon EOS 500D
