Me and my daughter Melanie in her teens, battling it out. Took the shot myself with the camera on self timer. Just told her to yell as loud as she could. It was scary how natural this came to her. Raising a daughter, especially through her teens, is about as emotionally draining as it gets. I knew support groups were available, but I opted for the mental scars… time will tell if that was the right path!!

My apologies for having no originality in flower choice but as you can see, I love my plain old dandelions! Anyway, in this image there are 3 stages of flower from the same plant, the bud, the flower and the post-flower fairy which to me are like 3 generations. I chose the layers and treatment to reflect all 3 generations by being aged yet still bright and not faded. / Have sold 1 x laminated print.

Featured on Red Bubble Home Page on Mothers day 2009 this is my mom… and that is you know who.. her great grand child :))))))))))))) on the cruise to Mexico.. the amazing thing is that this is one in a series of the sweetest looks and hugs between them.. we were entertained and were just awwwwwing.. it was so spontaneous and sweet. / and!! this is one of my faves. it makes it double extra special because it was the day of my moms birthday of 83 years in 2007.. which is why we went on a cruise . all of us sisters. were there. and she got to go to the place of her dream since childhood.. Well this is completely fucking weird and random and doesn’t make any sense. And it was taken exactly a year ago… and edited tonight. I have better photos from recent shoots to edit. But the last 24 hours I’ve been in a bizarre and insane head space.. no better way to take it out then to say I feel like this photo. It reminds me of David Lynch and drug movies (fear and loathing in las vegas). I will upload more stuff from my recent shoots. My Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, with a clock that they both owned. I have it now… / They had what could be called a “strained” relationship. My Great-Grandfather left his family of 9 children to research the possibility of making fuel from sugar cane (in “French Guyana”) for the British government. I have all of the letters he sent home. Four photoimages, edited in Photoshop Elements 3.
