  • She has a booboo

  • Kanji – Tea, Art, Expert (Tea Geisha) / Evolution is such a great thing, especially in an artist’s development. / This being my last tee for 2007, I need to thank The Bub so much for helping me evolve as an artist this year. It is something I’m so passionate about. / Below is what I started with, and this is what I’ve become, and for that I am truly grateful! / / Detail: /

  • Sales of this TShirt ? – 6 sales so far :) / / Shoes available at Zazzle ‘Asia Series’ TShirt by Karin Taylor Here’s a painting close to my heart. I’ve done this one utilising ink, charcoal and acrylics, another sweet little asian girl in traditional japanese kimono enjoying the art of ikebana in a reverent pose on her knees / Asia Blue is also available as a card or a print etc.

  • The Tee version of this which popped into my head this morning The Kanji is: crazy about tea geisha / Might be a tad on the Japanglish side… but isn’t that what the kids like? ooooh, too big??

  • Geisha is feeling a little shy and seeks solace behind her Akomeogi (japanese folding fan) special thanks to frozenfa for inspiring me to do some designs :)

  • A little while ago, I too was asked to design something, along with Scott, for some limited tshirt greatness. After lessons learned, coolness achieved, and so I don’t have to go into the witness protection program, I am able to now offer it to you…. on whatever colour you desire….... at the time it was going to go on some Royal Blue goodness – the best colour. The concept, although many and varied in my mind, is one I hope you all dig. it was going to be an oversize, overseam printy goodness DJ i’ve changed this slightly for The Bub tee template

  • I thought I’d post a “normal” version of this design, I rather like it too. For those of you who love the rocket fabric, I have been invited to join Spoonflower which is a fabric printing service. A lot like The Bub, you upload your design suitable for tiling, blah blah blah. So I will upload it, and give it a go. A while ago, for Naked & Angry I had designed a Hungry Hungry Hippos fabric, which I adore, so I will upload that too to get printed. I’ll keep you all posted!! We could have TBO pyjamas pants with matching RB tees yet!!!!! 同志 – same mind, comrade, kindred soul

  • I drew the sketch of this Tee about 2 months ago but i never actually got down and vectorised it till now. As you can probably see the design is influenced by Japan. I actually got the idea for this from TBO’s Japanfluence group here on redbubble. So big up too you TBO!!!

  • I wonder what they talk about when no one is there to hear them speak… I love Kokeshi dolls, they’re so pretty! I saw one I absolutely loved and just couldn’t afford it… so I drew her instead (the red one). My absolute favourite minimal design in my collection!
