This little fellow was so far the only one that allowed me to touch it, actually settling down on my hand.
Got all kinds of lizardy critters around my house, mostly Cuban brown anoles, but we like to call them geckos. This one was posing nicely on my porch screen, and I took lots of pics of him. For those who like to know, this is a heavily modified digital photo taken with an HP Photosmart R818 and run through so many PhotoShop filters that I couldn’t possibly itemize them. Also available as a card or wall art. The model, him(or her)self, before being mangled in PS filters. This is its actual, natural coloring. /
Gecko looking for a late night meal of green ants in Mossman, QLD. / I was about to take a photo of the green ant, who is actually carrying another ant, when a gecko popped his head around the corner. I love his little shiny eyes – he seems so pleased with his find! / I think I saved the ants life however, as just after I took the photo, the gecko was scared away.
These guys are HUGE, hard to spot on the trees too, but got lucky! Location was Coffs Harbour
This little gecko was spotted peaking out of a piece of wood in a garden in Moenin, France.

Tree Gecko at Wellington Zoo.
This great wall gecko is from a 19th century wood engraving. I love the way it’s body & tail curve around with those great little feet slayed out. Northern leaf-tailed gecko (Saltuarius cornutus) from north Queensland rainforests.
A couple of geckos cuddling on the eave of our patio. / We live in Yorkeys Knob, one of the northern beaches of Cairns, FNQ.
This was as close as I could get with the 450D / lens at 49mm settings 1/250s F13 ISO200 cropped.
Gecko here: This is “Stanley”. Stanley wandered up on my parents deck while I was cat-sitting. I had been wondering where all the “lizards” were that my mother spoke of; knowing that her cat Rocky was very good at chasing them I felt honored that Stanley showed up at all; let alone stayed long enough to let me get up in his face to take a picture. I have played with the image in Photoshop, giving his lizard skin a nice coat of “bubble” wrap and sealing it all with a nice glaze. ;o) Hope you enjoy!
