This is my beautiful grandaughter Sarah, otherwise known to RB as xoxanimalsxox. I picked her up from school the other day and while we waited for her sister we went down to the lake at Kanahooka Point Jetty, Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia to take some photos. she was gazing accross the lake and I wondered what her hopes and dreams were / Taken with my Canon 40DSLR on a manual setting using a monopod. / focal length 33mm / fstop 13 / exposure 1/250 sec / I used photoshop to convert this to Black and white

Ha! This is my husband James. He’s looking at me like he doesn’t see the camera & I’m speaking a foreign language that he doesn’t even know! Why, you ask? Because I’m bugging him & he wants me to stop but apparently I only hear in that foreign language also! ha ha ha n’ya n’ya n’ya ~ now what? Well….........I run! I decided to make a little pop art experiment. What I had in mind when I was working on this one was the fact how people admire one kind of art from afar, but in the end decide to put something completely different on the walls of their living space. This is my attempt on the wall art in the literal sense- something that somebody (in spite of being a Picasso or Van Gogh fan) will eventually put on their living room wall. / At first I thought it was overly simple compared to what I normally do, but somehow it grew on me.
