My son on a tractor platform is watching a light aircraft flying above. Image was taken in Moshav Yesha in the Negev desert in Israel. I took my kids on my last visit to my family, to a tour in the fields and snapped this image of my son gazing at this Cesna passing by. Somehow this image stir back my own dream, since I was a kid, to be able to fly a plane (not yet…) / An HDR process from a single raw file. * /

So this Eagle and his cute self, had just finished taking a bath, then he jumped out, fluffed his feathers to dry off…how cute is that to see!!!

I was quite lucky to spot this lovely lady in her exhibit. Let me explain a bit. The lion exhibit at the local zoo can be disappointing at times as the pair spend most of their time napping (well, they are cats) and they know precisely where to snooze in peace and away from prying eyes. So, imagine my surprise when on my way to the exit I see that the lions are awake! It took some looking and I happened to spot the female lion camouflaged in some greenery under a rock outcropping. After the fact, I wish I would have done something so the highlights would not be so blown out, but then again this shot took a bit of waiting and hoping she would look up.

All I did editing-wise was remove all the color except for the color of my eye itself & add just a bit more saturation. I did not add any other color or alter the color in any other way except to add a little bit to what was already there. I have absolutely no clue why or how the color turned out so cool but I wish I could get them to look this way for real!!!! FEATURED in the group Color Altering

Not as easy as i thought it was going to be… I first took a photograph as normal, and enhanced using CS4 and Lightroom…. / Julie’s beautiful SP which looks like a stunning painting.. / & my rather poor attempt…....which just looks like and enhanced photo lol
